Introduction
Ever since elementary school when my science class learned about pollution and the effects it has on our environment, I was determined to make a change. Recycling reduces the need to use fresh raw materials and creates something new from something old.

Thesis: It is very important for the sake of Americans tax dollars that we change the way that prisons are run and increase the productivity of inmates so when they are released from jail they are ready to be a productive member in society and have the confidence to achieve new goals. Introduction: Day after day, millions of inmates sit in jail doing nothing productive with their lives. We are paying to house inmates that may not even have a good reason to be there. For example, drug offenders are being kept with murderers and other violent offenders.
When many people think about recycling, they think about things like paper and plastic. However, there are many other things that you can recycle. Below is a list of things that you probably did not know you could recycle: Eyeglasses If you have a pair of unused eyeglasses in your home, then you can potentially recycle them. It is estimated that four million pairs of glasses end up in landfills each year.
The less products we waste and leave around, the less pollution we will have. Recycling reduces mining and drilling, which both causes pollution in the air. One of my last corollaries for environment, is that it also reduces global warming. Recycling paper reduces gases of the greenhouse gases that apparently causes global warming.
The first is design and deliver waste management services that meet the needs of the customer in a cost-effective manner, and second is to reduce the negative impact of waste. An important asset to the Peel Region Waste Management program is recycling. By recycling properly (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Recover), the Peel Region can then sell those recyclables to offset their recycling
Imagine living in a world where the air is polluted and most people are afraid to step outside their front door, in the near future, this may be reality for Americans. Americans throw out over 200 million tons of garbage a year, yet recycle not nearly as much. Most people do not realize it but recycling is a vital part of America’s society and if Americans do not perform this action, it will backfire on them. People in America are debating whether Americans are recycling enough and correctly. After analyzing the data, one will definitely agree that Americans need to be more educated on recycling due to the fact that most people do not know what happens after they recycle an item, nearly all Americans are recycling incorrectly, and Am To begin,
B. Reuse 1. Do not dispose things that are still reusable. Reduce waste by making full use of any item. C. Recycle 1. Give items you don 't need to persons in need; recycle broken but recyclable items so that the resources can be recycled into usable items.
Jacques Yves Cousteau writes, “Water and air, the two essential fluids on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans” (Cousteau 1). Recycling is an easy way to take care of our planet. Everyone should recycle because it saves energy and protects animal’s natural habitats. Recycling saves natural energy.
We must recycle and save so that this does not make the air contaminate and harm people. The most important thing is to avoid contaminating the earth and the air we
Did you know that every three months Americans throw enough aluminum in the landfill to build the nation’s commercial fleet. Also recycling a single aluminum can saves enough energy to power a TV for three hours. Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment. Everyday harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases are released from landfill sites harming the ozone layer. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste.
This current article shows both positive and negative outcomes of recycling. It was not biased which shows it was reliable by using sources. The authority was there, although it could have been more present. I know the purpose of this article was to show both sides of recycling and the different effects.
Now we are talking about recycling. So, what actually does recycling means? Turning used materials that are labeled as recyclable over to your local waste facility designated in a disposal container as “recyclable” materials to be taken and reused as material for a new purpose defines recycling . In order to create a new and different product, a recyclable product is turned back into a raw form that can be used. Recycling efforts can significantly reduce additional waste that will not only harm the planet today , but future generations as well.
Speech 1.12.17 Why is it so hard to say “I am fighting depression,” and so easy to say “my show got cancelled, I’m so depressed”? The first is looked down upon, and the second is seen as more acceptable. Many people misuse mental illnesses and use them as adjectives, whether on purpose or not. For example, people say, “the way you organize the books on your desk is so neat! You’re so OCD!”

When you get home you want to see a pretty house not a house filled with trash in the front yard from where people that walk by throw.
After examining the environmental and economical effects of recycling, research shows that recycling should be mandatory because it conserves natural resources, saves energy, and reduces pollution caused by waste. One of the biggest impacts that recycling has is conserving natural resources. According to Joanna Poncavage, recycled paper supplies about one-third of the materials used to make other U.S. paper products. Believe it or not paper can be recycled 4-7 times before the fibers need to be mixed with new ones (Ray).
Although not all waste can be eliminated from our country, many actions can be done to prevent a huge portion of it. Creating a more money conscious America and having them start by spending less and saving more will be a start to decreasing waste. Requiring recycling companies in each city will also be a huge pillar to decreasing the waste issues. By making individuals aware of the correlation of fuel prices, waste increases, and changing their mindset we can start to improve the waste. Therefore creating a better life for not only the current population, but also for generations to
