For my article I chose, “Decision Making in the Crime Commission Process: Comparing Rapist, Child Molesters, and Victim-Crossover Sex Offenders” by Eric Beauregard, Benoit Leclerc, and Patrick Lussier. Psych is yet another unrealistic portrayal of crime shows. This show falls under the category of police because they assist the police in many cases and help them solve the crime. However, this show is highly inaccurate because of the situation. There is a man who wanted to move out of a situation, so he pretended to be a psychic. In reality, of the TV show, he just happened to be supper observant because his cop father raised him after his mom passed away.

Despite all the progress the criminal justice system has made over the years, there will always be flaws due to humanity. Humans will never be perfect, making this the biggest downfall of any operation involving people. In any given situation, there is a decision made to later have an outcome. Depending on the decision and how the situation is viewed, the outcome may be good or bad.
