Other than California, I would consider relocating to Indiana because my immediate family currently lives in this beautiful state. If prospectors could not afford a carrying outfit for their possessions, they faced the back-breaking task of carrying their own essentials over the summit of the Chilkoot Pass and to lakes Lindeman and Bennett. The Chilkoot Pass faced frequent cloud cover, bad weather, and deep snow. “Blizzard-like conditions often closed in for days at a time, trapping travelers in an areas lacking both tree and sustenance” (Gates 1994).

Serpent Mound- The creators of the Serpent Mound were Native Americans possibly part of the Mississippi tribes. The Serpent Mounds was dated from 400 to 1100 CE of a formed impacted crater. Module 2 states, “the Serpent Mound was constructed to honor the cosmic rhythms through its form and structure”. The mound is made of several layers which are stone, clay, ash and top soil.
Recently Owen Aerts has been hunting. Owen had shot a 6 point buck. He went hunting to manage the deer population in Lakewood Wisconsin where there was a lot of deer hunters out in the woods on that day ,but Owen got a buck. A lot of people just went out in the woods and sat next to a tree.
Thoughout its existence, the Santa Fe Trail provided more then just trade from Missioury to the far southern reaches of the western lands of the United States. From 1821-1846, the Santa Fe Trail was an internatial road for many diverse people looking for something new. This trail leads through Kansas into Colorado, to La Junta Colorado. Where the Spanish and Native American cultures thived. this reflected a diverse community of traders, trappers, farmers, ranchers and gatherers that all collaberated to the biulding of small settlements: Las Animas, La Junta, Rocky Ford, Manzanolla.
There were some 15,000 captives that were still to be removed. There were draught and poor sanitation that made life very miserable. Very many of them died. The National Council of Cherokee and Chief Ross tried to plead with General Scott to permit the remaining Cherokees to wait till the weather was better for them to be moved. They also wanted to oversee their removal.

Field Trip Assignment When considering the entities involved with death and dying, the first place that came to my mind was the funeral home. When someone in your life passes away, you likely find yourself at the funeral home or at least becoming aware of funeral arrangements soon after the death. This is the route I went with and decided to visit Reigle Funeral Home for my field trip assignment. The Reigle location that I traveled to was on Pierson Road in Flushing, Michigan.
