Primarily, Japanese navy lost heavily in carriers and airmen at Midway, which resulted in the vanishing of their superiority and initiative in the Pacific. Furthermore, after the battle, the Pacific Ocean was dominated by the US carriers due to its main opponent, Japan, was weaken seriously. The domination by the US was critically decisive at that time because it primarily ended the war in the Pacific Theater and also aided allied strategy. 48,000 soldiers died during the month long battle of Iwo Jima. The battle of Iwo Jima was a pivotal battle between America and Japan. The battle is also where the Navajo marines got their recognition.. This battle was also very crucial because Japan would have a really big island conquered and we would have lost 26,000 Americans for nothing.

They came here to America because there was a high demand for immigrant work, the amount of money they paid was so low. It was a cloudy morning, most men up and lounging around and some on duty. You could barely see the sun shining through the thick clouds. You could though, hear the buzz of a plane when flying through the thick white clouds. The Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor and America had joined World War Two. The event that changed the course of American History.
In World War II there were many fronts of the war, therefore there were many battles fought . Usually in war there are multiple turning point battles, not just one or two. If ether of these battles turned out differently, America may not have become the amazing beautiful place it is today. The battle of Pearl Harbor occurred early morning in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 7, 1941.
This attack also resulted from the failure in communication, as well as the misinterpretation of radar signals. This also marks the turning point in the naval history as the age of the battleship came to an end and the age of the aircraft carrier was ushered
