From the human society lived in group of hunting, we have evolved into today world of globalization. People use Internet to connect everything, from friends, colleagues to small devices such as phones, refrigerators. Hence, it is reasonable for humans to apply it to keep track of what they are doing. Privacy, in a sense is taken away, is now more seriously threatened when devices as small as a grain of rice like Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips can actually be implemented on human. As with every newborn technology which might be flooded with negative critics, RFIDs should not and will not be destined to become the mark of the beast because of the Bible, the ethics of technology and the benefit. I am not a Christian, but since literal …show more content…
About the mark, probably the Book of Revelation is the only one containing the information. “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17 King James Version) states the position which the mark is placed on, and tells if the man does not have the mark, he shall not buy or sell, which is very vague. Metaphorically, it is forbidden to go against God unless the person has the beast inflicted the wound, which perhaps could be caused by siding with the devils. In many cultures, the devils are considered is so wicked that they can injure or kill their own worshippers. Historically, the Book of Revelation is likely about the Roman who had its soldiers crucified Jesus on the cross and was responsible for Christian martyr in the Colosseum. And when one systematically kill other’s family, there will inevitably be hatred. New Testament scholar Craig C. Hill (2002) nailed it in his book “In God's Time: The Bible and the Future”, which is: “It is far more probable …show more content…
As the name has said, active RFID does need a battery to continuously transmit the signal to the receiver while passive RFID does not need power but a reader to read it. In other words, one does not even need to be implanted with chips to be able to use technology of RFID. Mostly intended for identification purpose, RFID in transportation can be used for “identification of containers, pallets and trucks”, “tracking of vehicles”, “supporting, sorting and identification of shipments or airport luggage”, “tickets of public communication”, “monitoring of pharmaceutical transportation” and “usage of RFID to monitor the condition of tires in transport vehicles” (Wieczorek, 2015, p. 3). And as an “inexpensive, highly accurate, very practical, easy to maintain, supports indoor/outdoor learning, and enables situated, calm, and seamless services” sensor, authors Liu, Tan and Chu (2009) discover a new way of applying RFID in learning science about nature (p. 162). It will be predictable to see some people will embed the chip on their body for the benefit RFID can bring, just like phone, credit card, etc. The benefit RFID can bring, equipped with the care of privacy, will be the living example to show the beast does not leave the mark on RFID to harm
Mark Dever outlines this book with nine marks of the church that are often neglected. He begins the book explaining that these nine marks are not supposed to be deemed as the nine most important aspects of the church. However, Dever does believe that the church often neglects the importance of these nine marks. The marks are expositional preaching, biblical theology, the gospel, biblical understanding of conversion, a biblical understanding of evangelism, a biblical understanding of church membership, biblical church discipline, a concern for discipleship and growth, and biblical church Leadership.
From a young age, children must “love [their] friends ... Hate no man. [And] forgive [their] enemies” in order to be good Christians (Literature of Colonial America). While the elders of the society are preaching this to their children, they are doing the exact opposite. Instead of forgiving their enemies, people in this society are trying to get revenge.
However, when their children grow up then they will have no privacy. That is a concern because having no privacy will cause problems. This describes in this quote “ They follow the chips but when they get to the chips, all seven tracking to some parking lot, they find them all in a paper bag, all bloody just the chips” (Eggers 88). Even though this program is helping to fix the community, it is justifying itself on being used in a harsh way. Child Track also violates your human rights.
Book of REVELATION, is the last book of the Bible. The word ‘Revelation’ is derived from the Greek word ‘apokalupsis’ which means “a disclosure, or unveiling, and this book unveils Christ and the mystery of His return to earth as the Judge. This revelation was given to the apostle John while he was in Roman-imposed exile on the Island of Patmos in the eastern Mediterranean around 95 A.D. The book of Revelation has 22 chapters and the events are arranged in chronological order.
In Chatpter 4 Howard Thurman give you his outlook on hate. Hatred cannot be defined. It can only be described. “Hate is another of the hounds of hell that dog the footsteps of the disinherited in season and out of season. Christianity has been almost sentimental in its effort to deal with harted by preachments by moralizing by platitudinous judgement.
”If the use of technology goes heightens the body 's natural ability it will require citizens to take severe measures to protect privacy, and will crumble the promise of privacy in the home insured by the fourth amendment. One should not have to take irregular precautions to protect what can’t be felt, heard, tasted, or smelled due to new technologies. Moreover the fourth amendment does not require
Cellphones are everywhere, with everyone at all time that it has become a danger to our privacy. During the last decade, technology has been evolving at a speedy rate. As predicted by George Orwell the parallel elements between his novel and our present day are significant. We have similar technology, similar tracking, similar invasion of privacy, and similar over reaches. The present has become an updated version of George Orwell’s 1984 novel.
Is the implantation of this chip going to change the politician’s behavior? If so, some serious ethical implications are brought into play. Perhaps the wide spread use of artificial intelligence and the concept of “big brother” is lurking too close for Sterling’s comfort. Considering Sterling’s premise in combination with his seemingly off handed comment concerning RFID tags, one can extrapolate that Sterling is setting forth a red flag to the virtual community.

Surveillance cameras are a big deal in today 's world as well, as they spy on the average person as they go about their daily routine. In today 's society cell phones are a big controversy. As it states in the article That 's No Phone. That 's My Tracker, “ The
That's my tracker,” by Peter Maass and Megha Rajagopalan they talk about how every personal information that a citizen has safe on their phone is not safe and that their phones are in danger. In the article, they mention how “1.3 million of call data was collected”. Millions of cell phone users have been swept up in government surveillance of their calls. That proves that cell phone companies have definitely been watching our every move and how our phones have obviously become like our personal trackers. In the article, they also mention how “Cellular systems constantly check and record the location of all phones on their networks – and this data is particularly treasured by police departments and online advertisers” this obviously shows that the government is able to obtain private information from citizens.
If microchipping is compulsory in certain countries across the world, you need to have reliable microchipping techniques and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all
I think that every future may bring technology, it will help us, but the same time, mobile phones may bring us some bad things that will leave a bad fingerprint in our societies
Modern cellular advances have made for a completely connected world. Today, new cell phones, laptops, and tablets are displayed and praised every week. Currently, microchips are being made to allow you to perform many actions. Glasses, which present a controllable screen before your very eyes, are being perfected and prepared to be sold. Sadly, many people consider these new technological advances as wonderful, fun new inventions; however, cell phone companies, and ultimately the government, can tap into your day whenever they please.
The RFID applications included attendance recording, to access the control, tea and coffee vending machine services and an e-purse, along with biometric security features of the organisations. Reliance Industries adopted this concept across the entire group of companies. Reliance Retail has made plans for using RFID to support its operations. The company has developed five RFID-deployment scenarios, including the tracking of reusable crates of fresh food; item- and case-level tracking of high-value goods; and pallet and case tagging of various
