Resume Essay My resume had many weaknesses and little strengths. I need really work hard this year and try to make it look better. I had strengths in in my GPA area and advanced classes. My GPA right now is a 3.19 with this GPA I could get in some colleges but if I want to get into better colleges I need to work harder. MY other strength I have in my resume is taking advanced classes I have took so far seven honors classes and finished them all with decent grades. I am also advanced in math I am taking pre-calculus honors and hopefully next year I hope to take calculus. With all these advanced classes I could get a better understanding of math and do very well in college. Like my resume had strengths it also had weaknesses, my major weakness
My freshman year of high school was difficult for me to adjust to and I did not perform to the best of my ability on my biology honors midterm. Due to this discrepancy, I was unable to be accepted into the Science Honor Society in junior year. Although disappointed that a singular grade had the ability to decide a part of my future two years later, I continued to work hard, especially in my science courses. Junior year, I decided to challenge myself and take an AP Physics course, even though I had never taken a physics course prior. This class was excruciatingly demanding and a new experience for someone who had never taken an AP class before.
I love to read and learn, I love to read self-improvement books, and books about science. I am drawn to lists that have suggestions, tips, exercises, and suggestions on whatever topic I am interested in at the moment or need to learn about. This strength can help me succeed at GCU because I tend to enjoy talking to my classmates and professors about ideas, theories, and concepts to gather the latest thinking. I love to gather information, I will often delve more deeply into subjects that intrigue me the most people. This could be a positive when I have big projects or research papers.
In future years the work we know and do will be changed. With current emerging technologies, such as the 3D printer, Wi-Fi, or mobile devices, jobs have already been impacted from what was done in the ‘olden days’ or before the introduction of these advancements. Three careers have been chosen to display how this information technology (IT) impacts on work, these careers being medicine, education, and journalism. They have been chosen based on how their careers have largely been positively impacted and changed because of these advancements. The examples below will demonstrate how IT has shown to be an overall positive addition to the work industry.
My greatest academic strengths include critical thinking, critical reading, creativity, listening skills, and perseverance. I’ve gained these strengths by challenging myself academically. My greatest academic weaknesses include a short attention span, cramming, and not being a good test
My strongest attribute is being able to work well in a team and taking lead if needs be. I am very confident in speaking, presenting and asking/answering questions in lectures.
“Well, you’re all done.” As I Flicked my tongue across my teeth, an odd satisfying feeling came over me. No more metal, that disgusting, horrifying taste of metal was finally gone. My orthodontist handed me the mirror. I hesitated initially, but as I looked at my reflection, everything around me seemed to light up, not because of my obviously eye-blinding teeth, but because of the confidence that started to ooze out of me.
No one person is the same as another, we all interact, behave, think and feel differently, and I think this is what amazes me the most. One strength that is substantive to my career that I believe I have, is empathy. I have always had such an efficacious sense of empathy with the people around me.
To begin with, my top strength is positivity. According to Rath, “ You are generous with praise, quick to smile, and always on the lookout for the positive in the situation” (Rath p141). I believe it is always important to be positive regardless of how bad a situation is. My job is to motivate others when they become pessimistic of a certain task. This strength is essential in both school and a career as neither a classmate or a co-worker wants to surround him or herself with negativity that makes for a long day.
I was in National Junior Honor Society in junior high; since then it has been a goal of mine to be in the National Honor Society in high school as well. I love helping others and getting things done when other people are not able to. I am extremely adaptable to any situation I am put in and get along very well with others. I have leadership experience in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, I am also in a position at my job that gives me a lot of influence and leadership. At work, if people need something they will generally come to me before my boss because 95% of the time I am am able to help them.
What are your two strengths and what is your weakness? My two greatest strengths are my communication and problem solving skills. I excel at understanding customer needs and motivations, and using this insight to tailor selling points, to understand potential obstacles, and to devise effective solutions. My greatest weakness has been the difficult I have in declining additional work assignments.
I have become more determined which is one of my strengths. What I have done to stay more focused is make a list of my priorities that I need to stay on task with. It makes me feel better about myself when I check things off my list. I have been also persistent which is another strength that will help me succeed and will help me become a better
I was not at all surprised that my number one strength is winning others over because I love people. I love being around people whether they are strangers or friends and enjoy making conversation. In clinical, I am always excited to meet and talk to new people. Helping classmates with their patients is exciting to me because I am able to meet and talk to even more people throughout the day. I was surprised that one of my strengths was positivity.
Strengths and Weaknesses My three major strengths are medication administration, communication with patients, and asking questions when I do not fully understand something. I feel like throughout my preceptorship these have grown stronger, and have helped me to be successful. My three major weaknesses that I have been focusing on throughout my residency are communicating with physicians, completing skills I am unfamiliar with, and improving my confidence. I would say that these have improved quite significantly, but I still have a ways to go.
Strengths: As a student one of my strengths is organization. I can say I can keep my school materials and notebooks organized in a way that I and others can comprehend. The reason I can say I am organized is because, I have hardly ever had in the past or present any issues with trying to find homework or assignments because I always kept my materials for each class organized and in a place I could easily find. Another strength I have is social skills. I can believe that I communicate with others well in a group.
