Did you know that tens of thousands of people will lose their jobs when self-driving cars hit the road? Did you know that you can buy a house for the same price as a driverless car? Self-driving cars are about to take over the highways, but these vehicles are on a course destined to crash. Not only are these cars expensive to purchase, but they will leave many without jobs and these cars will add to our already lazy do-it-for-me society. I believe that self-driving cars have no business on the road.

It is expensive to put all this into action, that includes passing laws to legalize this. It might not be safe in harsh weather conditions due to the signals cars would need to send out. Also, drivers could begin to rely on technology more than they should and it could cause them to forget how to operate basic electronics including normal cars. In the Next 20 years the only vehicle that will be on the road will be self driving . As more people become aware of and use the new technology of self driving vehicle, one day that will be the only type of vehicle on the road. People will realize how much time it saved them and their families. This situation happened when Uber was introduced; it pushed the taxis down when it arrived in the industry. People didn’t discuss about the driver jobs in this situation, but this actually matters a lot. Lyft Company said that, their drivers will not lose their jobs; even the self-driving cars are introduced. Because, the human driven cars will also operate along with the self-driving cars, so it is safe for the Lyft drivers.

Technology nowadays is only getting smarter and better as the years go by; driverless cars are a big success for people that have been trying to make this happen for years. Even though driverless cars exist now and have been being tested on, many companies have not worked out all the bugs on them so driverless cars are yet to be released until companies can ensure the safety of the owners of the car and the other drivers on the road.
