This process is formed by what is called conditioning. There is many drills for this exercise such as push ups, pull ups, lunges, back pedals, galloping, sprinting, sit-ups, crunches, etc. This helps arms get strong so the throw will be accurate and help the player hit harder. Softball can be played and explained into two different ways. Softball can be described as a slow pitch and a fastpitch sport. Slowpitch and fastpitch softball are similar in many things but have several differences. For these softball teams, each of them plays on a diamond shaped field with four bases. Also, two teams play against each other to see who will win.
Softball and Baseball Major League Baseball, a so called professional organization, is one of the oldest from four major sports leagues in the United States and Canada. Although, Softball may not have a major league like Baseball it does in fact have a National Pro Fastpitch League. Baseball and softball may have a lot of similarities but they have just the same amount of differences. While baseball is played by males, softball is played by females and there are many more differences including the techniques used by the pitcher, the equipment used (balls and bats), and the size of the fields.
Having a dad that is a softball coach, has also motivated me to work my hardest, and do my best. I was only in third grade, when I decided to become a softball pitcher. I worked every day, doing the best that I could. Sometimes I was right in the strike zone, other times it was “miles” over the catcher's head. For a small 9 year old girl I guess I was pretty good.
Even though softball and baseball have many similarities, there are numerous differences between them, such as the size of the field. A baseball field is much larger than softball, softball plays on a much shorter field. In baseball they have 300 to 400 foot fences, in softball they play at 150 to 200 foot fences. Baseball players throw overhand on lifted mounds with a small sized white ball and softball players throw underhand on low pitchers mounds, with a much larger yellow ball. They both also have different pitching rules, for example, in softball the pitcher wears a mask and they must deliver the pitch once their hands separate.
A softball outfield is longer than a baseball field. A baseball field has a bigger infield. In softball, the bases are closer together than a baseball field. The bases in softball are around sixty feet apart and the bases in baseball are around ninety feet apart. With the outfield being wider/longer in softball than it is in baseball, it makes it harder to hit a softball.
The game of softball continued to grow around the world and women began to get interested in this sport more and more. The idea of women playing softball continued to get popular around the world and it officially became official for women to play in leagues and the rules were way different and standardized. By 1895 the first women's softball team was developed in Chicago's West Division High School. During games women did not require to have a coach until 1899. Women playing softball in the early days mostly played slow pitch.

You don't just need that to make sure this game happens without support of other this game would never be. I love the way my team makes everyone comfortable on the field, that's why I love softball because everyone is there for you. A softball field does not just have all those great qualities there is laughter and happiness that also have to be in that mix. If we had none of this there would be no joy to softball.
Baseball is considered by many to be America’s favorite pastime. Softball in many aspects is similar to baseball but in reality it is harder to play. This can be shown in all aspects of the game from hitting to pitching to fielding to catching. One major aspect where the difference is obvious is hitting. It has been scientifically proven that a 95 mph fastball generates 2411 lbs of force as it crosses the plate and a softball thrown at 65mph generates even more according to youtube.com.
Over the years I’ve gotten stronger, faster, and overall better at softball. Four years into it and I have some great and some painful stories. I’ve learned many things about softball, but one that has stuck out to me and that also applies to life is that it can be fun.
I play softball because of the love I have for the game, and because of the feeling that takes my breath away every time I step onto the field. The softball field at Glendale Community College is now my new home for the next two years. Hearing your name being called and lining up alongside the first base line with your teammates before the game makes you feel worthy and excited to play such an amazing sport. As we gather in a tight circle just before we rush to our positions,
People think sports are just sports, but in reality to athletes it’s an escape from life, it’s our second family, and most important we feel like we belong there. Sports make you feel like your apart of something bigger than a team. Softball has been my second family and I have made so many amazing friendships that might last for the rest of life and even if they don’t, I will never forget all my friends or the memories that I have playing ball with
Responsibility Softball, it takes skill, talent, and confidence, but a player also needs to be responsible. She must take advantages, manage every lesson, practice, and homework sheet, and make wise choices. Softball comes with a lot of work, and with that comes responsibility. On defense and offense, the opposing team is going to make mistakes, they are not perfect. Though they are not perfect, they can still win the game if the other team does not take control.
Those are two times during the game that you can do good on when playing even if your team is not very good at it. Softball you touch the ball when throwing the ball and volleyball you touch the ball when passing, setting and hitting. Both sports can be played all year around. Volleyball and softball are similar in a few
Softball and baseball each have advantages and disadvantages when it comes to the size of the field. From the plate to home in softball it is sixty feet and in baseball it is ninety feet. With the softball field being smaller, the fielders are closer together than in baseball. This means that as a batter it 's harder to get a hit by the fielders and get an infield hit. Bunting is also incredibly difficult to do in softball.
