RAPTURE: How to get prepared for the Second Coming.
Rapture is a “designed technology” by God to airlift the Christians to meet Jesus - an escape route from deadly tribulation. Rapture is derived from the Latin word ‘raptus’ and it means: “a carrying off”.
There are different teachings about the rapture and its timing. The pre-tribulation, during-tribulation and post-tribulation doctrines are causing a lot of confusion. I am not introducing a new teaching about the rapture, but I want to show you the clarity of this topic.
Is Rapture a real future event?
The failed predictions of the end-time by some people such as: John Wesley 1836, Margaret Rowen 1925, Jehovah’s Witness 1941, Herbert Armstrong 1943, Pat Robertson 1982 and Harold Camping 2011 could make you become bias about the rapture.
But, I had discovered that the best way to

Jesus says: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven…” (Matthew 24:29 and 30)
The Bitter Pills of Tribulations
Tribulations are unwanted events happening to human beings. And end-time tribulations precede the occurrence of rapture. You might want to ask me if Christians will be a partaker of these tribulations.
Tribulations such as flood, disease outbreak, wars etc. had been in existence before the arrival of Jesus. The tribulations never stopped on earth when He came to shed His blood for our salvation.
Rather, Jesus predicted more tribulations, and He made it known that we would encounter many trials and sorrows.
Jesus says in the book of John chapter 16 verses 33: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the
It is clear that John Wyndham wrote The Chrysalids as a warning for today’s society, based on the comparisons that are drawn between the society of Waknuk, the Old People, Sea land, and our current society. More specifically, the current technological advancements, the existence of fundamentalist groups, and the slowly changing concept of “freedom of speech”. The events of Tribulation serve as a warning to today’s society. Many current day countries have nuclear weaponry, chemical weaponry, bombs, and other massively destructive tools at their disposal. Comparably, the Old People had very advanced technology and the reader knows that a nuclear war has taken place based on the existence of such extreme mutations seen in both plants and people.
The theme that applies to the stories There Will Come Soft Rains (Teasdale), There Will Come Soft Rains (Bradbury), Nightmare Number Three, and By The Waters of Babylon is that one day, humans will cause their own self-destruction. In By The Waters of Babylon, it is set in the future, and the son of the priest has a vision of the past where the “gods” were having a civil war. On page 7, it says, “When gods war with gods they use weapons we do not know . . . It was the time of the Great Burning and Destruction.”
John 16:33 ensures us that we are never alone when we are fighting these battles and says “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (NIV).
As a Christian facing trials and tribulations are a guarantee; the way we react makes us who we are. We will be tempted and persecuted and left with many decisions to be made. The world is always willing to battle our beliefs, so as Christians we should be able to defend our Lord and put up a fight. To be men and women of God; experienced and well equipped. In a similar sense during physical battle there are so many decisions that must be made, with little time to make them; the decisions you choose to make can define your character.
Have you ever read The Angel of Death? If not, save yourself some time and find a new book to read. The Angel of Death, written by Alane Ferguson, is a forensic mystery where the main character’s-Cameryn’s-former teacher was suspiciously killed in his home. Cameryn must find and solve the clues that trace back to the murderer of Brad Oakes. The Angel of Death has its ups and many downs, but there were still some good things, bad things, there some relatable parts, and I will give recommendations on if others should read this book.
Book of REVELATION, is the last book of the Bible. The word ‘Revelation’ is derived from the Greek word ‘apokalupsis’ which means “a disclosure, or unveiling, and this book unveils Christ and the mystery of His return to earth as the Judge. This revelation was given to the apostle John while he was in Roman-imposed exile on the Island of Patmos in the eastern Mediterranean around 95 A.D. The book of Revelation has 22 chapters and the events are arranged in chronological order.
There are numerous references to chaos, destruction, death, and resurrection found within the pages of Revelation. A heavily symbolic book written by the believer John during his exile (exactly where is debated, though many believe it to be the island of Patmos), Revelation hints, through the use of metaphor, historical references, and prophecy, at the final days of the world. One of the passages of this Holy and strange book reads, “And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them (Rev 20:5). While many theologians will look at this scripture in a symbolic manner, other, other, non religious individuals use this ideology for quite different means.
Many movies and books has mentioned above has spinned themes around this doctrine. Personally doing much research on the Rapture and talking to people about it as well as not being a huge religious believer, I still can’t help but to wonder if this is entirely true and if this could indeed actually happen. I am a true believer on anything can happen and even though there is no evidence that this is coming or not. A lot of scriptures in the bible has led many Christians to believe this such thing could happen and with a lot of faith and trust in Jesus Christ you could indeed be safe. People want to be that believer that will be saved from Jesus Christ and be sent up to heaven to not have to bear with the years of destruction that many non-believers have to face.
To convince sinners who haven't accepted christ to accept him, Jonathan Edwards most effectively appeals to man emotion through metaphor that are meant to reveal what could happen. “The pit is prepared, the fire is made ready.” The pit is referring to hell. Hell is hot and ready for the people who die without christ. The metaphor is made to scare people.
This will deal the antichrist a deadly blow on his authority to rule because the rapture event will be televised worldwide leaving the world behind in despair and anguish of soul because of the sudden disappearance of millions of believers. _______________________________________ • For this reason, before he could assert his authority as a world dictator, the Beast would depend on the ministry of the lamb-like beast, which spake as a dragon, to give the people of the world false hope and comfort them to pin their hope on the false Messiah and thus, be deceived into thinking that the False Messiah is their hope and future in those catastrophic circumstances.
Greek Philosophy about Fate FATE Fate in different time of periods of mythology defines as there is prevailing power that is supernatural which predetermines the events of human life or even day of death also decided. Human being who have belief on God they believe on fate, which is unchangeable and should acceptable. "A man can surely do what he wills to do, but he cannot determine what we wills" Schopenhauer.(C.S Reddy The fate which is called by Greeks as Moira, is considered ruler of human destiny. It is their firm belief that it is most ferocious and frightening fact of the life that there is no escape from fate.
Various religions across the world employ several different concepts that non-believers often find very strange or difficult to grasp. There is however a concept that is universally understood and somewhat accepted by the vast majority of our contemporary society. This is of course the concept of an afterlife. The afterlife can be defined as a sort of state of being where the consciousness of an individual persists even after the physical death of the body. This concept plays a central role in nearly all religions that employ it and is sometimes dependent on the existence of a God.
In order to understand apocalyptic literature, and determine its significance today, it is therefore vital to recognise its key characteristics. First, it must be noted that apocalyptic describes a literary genre, and must not be confused with apocalyptic eschatology, which pertains specifically to the end of all time, and which emerges in several literary forms. Equally, it must not be confused with apocalypticism, in which anticipation of the end of the age is emphasised. Indeed, Daniel ‘lacks most of the features of apocalyptic thought’, and is considered to be one of only two complete pieces of apocalyptic literature in scripture.
The tribulation Sharky and the others went through, can then be associated with the suffering Christ went through, and as his resurrection was an important event to bring salvation to mankind, it only seems more plausible that Sharky and the others through these trials have a chance to better themselves and achieve
The Last Supper is the final meal that Jesus Christ has with his Disciples before his crucifixion. The first significance of the Last Supper is when Jesus Christ announces in the supper that one of twelve of his disciples will betray him before sunrise. The painting shows the story of the scene after Jesus Christ announces the betrayal of one of his disciples. “One of you will betray me” (Bible, by Mark 14:18) the second significance of the Last supper is that Jesus Christ taught his followers the symbol that he is remembered for the sacrifices of his blood and body for mankind.
