The exploration team must overcome not only the rivalry but the hellish weather on the mountain. The setting played a role in 'Topman' and James Ramsey Ullman used craft moves to show it, craft moves such as symbolism and foreshadowing. There is a clever craft move done by Ullman in his story to demonstrate the role the setting has in the 'Topman", and it is foreshadowing.
