After her father’s business failed, she moved to a farm in Rochester, New York to help them in the mid-1840s and worked as a teacher. c. Susan B. Anthony is a revolutionary figure because she devoted most of her time fighting for what she believed in, including anti-slavery, and becoming the face of women’s rights.
