The Bull Moose Party, was a former political party in the United States, founded by Theodore Roosevelt during the presidential campaign of 1912. I bet you didn’t, the first cheerleader’s name was Johnny Campbell; he decided that one day that he wanted to lead chants at the University of Minnesota’s football game. He then created a whole team that would help him lead the crowd at different University of Minnesota sports games. Then, on November 2, 1898, Johnny Campbell was recognized to be the world’s first official cheerleader.

On Sunday afternoon, boy scouts in Seward’s Troop 256 gathered at the St. John Lutheran Church to honor eight members’ induction to Eagle Scout. Also present were six members of the troop’s class of 1967, which reunited to celebrate the group’s 50th anniversary as Eagle Scouts. State Sen. Mark Kolterman of the 24th District, one of nine members of the 1967 troop, said he knows first hand how big of an honor the award is. “You work hard for it,” he said. “It’s something that nine of us have in common from that era, and we’re all close friends because of it."

Today in the United States about 4,358 people under the age of 21 years old die each year from alcohol-related car crashes, homicides, suicides, alcohol poisoning, and other injuries such as falls, burns, and even drowning. Alcohol related motor vehicle crashes kill someone every 31 minutes and non-fatally injure someone every two minutes. In the National Collegiate Athletic Association wrestling is one of the top five viewed championships in college sports, but how are we supposed to know who we like best when we only get to see them in the playoffs? I believe that there should be more college wrestling on TV. There should be more wrestling on TV because it’s unfair. There’s NCAA football and basketball on television all the time, so why shouldn’t there be wrestling too? Eighty-three percent of the people I interviewed agreed with me on this subject.

Tom Brady is the greatest football player to ever play the game. This might sound like an opinion, but there are so many facts following from here that it’s basically a true statement that Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T. If you don’t know what G.O.A.T means, well it means that he is just the Greatest Of All Time. I was very honored to know that I qualified as a possible candidate for the National Honor Society. To be honest, I never thought of being in the National Honor Society. Therefore, when I got pulled out of class I immediately thought I had done something wrong. I went home that day and told my mom about it. My mom looked me in the eyes and told me that she was very proud of me and gave me a big hug.

Patrick Henry applies the rhetorical strategies of allusions and repetition in his “Speech in the Virginia Convention” to assert that the colonists should believe fighting for their freedom and rights is necessary and that they must fight as soon as possible. Getting into an accident can be horrific, especially if the cause is drunk driving. Drunk drivers put lives at risk, as they can swerve uncontrollably and crash into innocent bystanders or other drivers. Automobile accidents occur daily, whether it is from a distracted driver, drunk driver or a sudden crash. However, drunk driving accidents and deaths related to them are totally preventable.
