Teenagers go through a lot; as stated before, they are at a fragile age with hormones and all. Pressure flows in on them from friends, family, sports, academics, etcetera. We should relieve the pressure of academics just a little bit by lightening the homework and classwork loads. Spending seven hours a night on homework after a seven hour school day is not everyone 's ideal afternoon. Or, like Botstein had suggested in his article, we could have high school start after sixth grade and go through tenth grade.
Homework becomes very unpopular with the students. This is because homework is perceived by students to have taken their time away from school. Homework is also considered to stress students. Many of the teachers consider homework is very important given to students.
“No Homework For Students” Imagine being able to go home and not have to worry about doing homework or a big project to present. There wouldn’t be any stress about school. In college, students experience a great deal of stress for the first time in their lives. In the past, they experienced little stresses that came with growing up, but now they experience stress from the real world and it can be overwhelming. The stress in college is more serious than any they had experienced prior because it is a time that will define the rest of their lives. For many, this is the first time getting a loan, the first time having to care for themselves, the first time studying for massive exams, and the first time that their decisions will affect the rest of their lives. The main types of stress college students experience are financial stress, parental stress, class stress, social stress, and self-invoked stress.
They are not focused on teaching us what to expect when we reach the age of adulthood, they are focused on teaching us about the subjects appointed by the Department of Education (DOE). This is the issue we face every day with the school system because although it is great to have a better understanding in these subjects, they should also focus on teaching us how to prepare for the real world. I strongly believe that they should be teaching us how to save money, how to be a better candidate for a job application, and how we are are going to need to be independent. Education should not just be about our academics or else we will never get anywhere. It should also be about how to prepare yourself for real-world problems.
Everyone goes to school, everyone has homework. Homework has been a topic of interest for a very long time. Many students think that homework is not beneficial. However, without homework people wouldn’t remember what they learned in class. Homework gives kids the chance to prove what they have learned.
