Though Parliament repealed all the Townshend Acts, it did not take away the taxes of tea, because the British officials knew that the tea was on high demand despite the boycotts occurring. One week ago, the colonist attacked the British. This was a tragic event where the Colonist threw snowballs, clubs,oysters,and chunk of ice. In addition they told us the British,to fire if we dared, so we did but, on accident. Once one of us fired, other British started to. The colonist protested that they were unarmed but they really had many items that could kill.

Revere was a well known silversmith and leader of Patriots, the group against the British Parliament, who had been taxing them and not letting them live in the areas they wanted to live in. The group called the Sons of Liberty was a group of Patriots who had held protests against the British taxation and boycotted many British goods in retaliation. The Boston Massacre occurred after a British customs official killed the 11 year old Christopher Seider, followed by a large funeral held by the Sons of Liberty.

The American Revolution was a time period where there were 13 colonies in America exploring more of the land everyday, The british shared the land with people who are called the pilgrims and ended up soon turning into Patriots and after that Americans. Great Britain started abusing their colonists while there were shootings and many taxes of colonists, many were unfair, and this led to the revolution. This war was between The Patriot/Americans against the British/Loyalists. The revolution happened because a few major events in history took place in Boston others will say it as British Territory.

Today the bloody massacre happend in boston. There was a group of protesters throwing snowballs, sticks, and stones at a squad of British soldiers. They responded by shooting into the riot of people. The event ended up killing 3 people and right now they say that 8 others are wounded. The presence of the British in Boston is becoming more and more unwelcome.

The Boston Massacre was an accident in the beginning, but it continued to go on until it reached an extent where it could be an accident no longer. The real question is when did this accident start, and when did it get too far? Some say it should have never happened. others say it was the start of the revolution. Captain Thomas Preston was a British officer stationed in Massachusetts staying in a home with other soldiers under the Quartering Act.

I believe the jury did the right decision in the case of the boston Massacre, I think Captain Preston was innocent and did not order his men to fire, but individuals soldiers may be guilty of murder. One of the soldiers named Montgomery was hit on the head with ice and fell to the ground after he got up and fired into the crowd.

The definition of a massacre refers to an unnecessary and random killing of a large number of individuals.

Intolerable Acts The Intolerable Acts can be viewed as one of the first sparks to the flaming fire of America claiming Independence. The Intolerable Acts, also called the Coercive Acts, were a series of laws passed in 1774 in order to punish the colonies for defying their rule. Four out of five of the Intolerable Acts were directed towards Massachusetts directly and the other was directed at Quebec. All of the Acts were supposed to stop the colonies from defying England’s Rule and show the colonies that England was still in charge.
