It is so easy to draw conclusion before truly understating the meaning behind it all. When I think of fiesta, I immediately draw my own conclusion that it’s a celebration for a child’s birthday and Pina’s filled with candies. After reading this chapter, it was enlightened to know The Mexican Fiesta is a celebration for variety of occasions. The celebration includes, “historical events, Mexican Independence Days, honoring Catholic saints; as well as paying homage to special foods and crops found in particular region”.
