In the twenty-first century, men and women have unequal pressure to change their body image to look good. Our society today has the power to determine what a ‘perfect’ body is. Women have had more a history with body image ‘issues’. You hardly ever hear a man complaining about how much he hates his body. I’m here to show the unequal pressure between the genders. Women and men see things completely different. For instance, women read into things more than men do. We care about how many likes we get on a picture on Instagram or Facebook, but if we don’t get as many likes as we think we would get, we get self conscious and want to change ourselves.
