One of the major themes of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is to have courage in whatever you do. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi had to have courage throughout this whole story. I will explain three different times in this story when Rikki-Tikki-Tavi had to have courage down below. One of the ways that Rikki-Tikki-Tavi showed that it is good to have courage in what ever you do is when he found Nag threatening Teddy (the little boy who found him in a ditch on the side of the road) by saying “If you come to much closer I will bite you”! This made Rikki-Tikki mad, so he got Nags attention. After Rikki got Nags attention Rikki began to get a little afraid because a snake is much faster and more agile than a mongoose. Even though Nag has these abilities that Rikki does not
One theme from Rikki Tikki Tavi would be courage. Rikki has to fight two cobras, Nag and Nagaina, to protect his garden and Teddy. He is frightened of them because they are stronger and bigger than he is, but he overcomes his fear and fights them anyway. "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" is a short story in The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about the adventures of a valiant young mongoose. One theme from Rikki Tikki Tavi would be courage.
Saving someone other than yourself in a terrible situation is not something everyone thinks about doing, but in this case Stefania Podgorska not only saved herself but 13 others, and they all lived. Podgorska didn’t plan to save all those people it was more a spur of the moment thing, and not only did she help them by getting them food she saved every last one of them; and they all lived to see more days. In life, good deeds go unnoticed, the courage and unselfishness of her mind at that time should not be something someone just forgets about it’s a wonderful thing she did and everyone should know about her. By examining Podgorska and her moral courage it is clear that she deserves all the attention given, and or all the respect others show. Stefania came from a well known Catholic family that served the community, and so, when it came to do what she did i’m sure it wasn’t in her mind out of the ordinary/or heroism.
‘Oh look here! our mongoose is killing a snake!’This is important because this shows how he
How does Gene’s envy and imitation of Finny affect him and his relationship with Finny, if “envy is ignorance; imitation is suicide.” In a A Separate Peace by John Knowles, is a story about a flashback of when he was a student at Devon Academy. Nagaina’s feeling of needing to avenge Nag is suddenly forgotten about and she even willing to do anything for the sake of that last egg. You could tell she was desperate because of the way she reacted to that. “ The big snake turned half around and saw the
Jeremy Fink has a big fear of change. This shows that he doesn’t really like to try new things and he is not really a risk taker. Jeremy, a 12 year old, has been living without his father for five years now and that has been tough on him. That is one of the reasons he doesn’t like change, because the biggest change he can remember is living without his father. Another example is Jeremy’s food choice.
Gene is so ensnared with Finny that it makes him impulsively courageous. An example of Gene’s courage is, “every time, when I get myself into position to jump, I felt a rush of
He has bravery, for fighting many battles with the snakes such as Nag, Nagaina, and Karait. He shows awareness for knowing where Nag is and knows not to go to the wrong place at the wrong time. He also shows that he is fast with fast reaction times and running speeds as Nagaina was sneaking up behind him to kill him and as he got a warning from the bird, he wasted no time and jumped up into the air to save his life. Most mongoose don’t have as many impressive characteristics to do things like fight snakes and know exactly where they are so they don’t get killed by them by approaching them at the wrong place at wrong time, or having extremely fast reaction times to jump up in the air as something is sneaking behind him to save their lives. Rikki-Tikki is a pretty impressive

People aren't always undertaking missions, but people who do undertake a mission have self-believe and courage. I read Rikki-Tikki show heroism when taking down two cobras, plus Farah Ahmedi pushed herself with a disability when she climbed a mountain. But they weren't the only ones, Ernesto Galarza also showed courage when he was optimistic and saw learning as a fun thing. All these examples show that it takes self-believe and courage to undertake a mission. Rikki-Tikki Tavi by Rudyard Kipling is a fable where animals have anthropomorphic traits.
