Time management has been one of the most substantial hurdles of my scholastic and professional career. Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful. To capitalize on the use of time management strategies and reach my Doctoral Business Administration (DBA) program goals. I will execute two specific time management strategies, for example, accessing and planning a weekly schedule while adjusting my daily schedule. Time management will help me maximize the use of my time and reach my ultimate DBA goals of completing each assignment.

Maintaining an accurate schedule will facilitate the use of my time and process strategies by, accessing and planning a weekly program. A master list of writing everything down in an orderly, meticulous way, so that I can do a better job of staying on top of tasks is a fundamental principle. Making to-do-list of what I must be accomplished during the upcoming week, including class assignments and class participation. My daily to-do list will help me stay focused, and motivation is the key to complete my everyday activities so that I can reach my DBA goals. Examples of schedule activities on my daily to-do list include time set aside for small amounts of studying and regular online classroom discussions. I will write out a day-to-day schedule from the beginning of each day of the week to rehearse what's accomplished. I include uncompleted tasks from the prior day as well as new tasks.
Additionally, practical time management skills a lot time in which to complete all my academic tasks within a timely. Time management ability will positively decrease my research, writing, and proofreading processes as I continue in the course. Also, having an ability to connect my hourly work schedule to online assignments and study time increases the effectiveness.
As final analysis I believe as a student spending twenty or more hours a week on research activities, fifty-six hours per week sleeping, eight hours eating, and twenty hours involved with leisure activities. A full-time flexible schedule demonstrates the need and usefulness of time management techniques. It is even more imperative to stay on top of my educational workload and while juggling full-time jobs. The most precious resource is time, and learning to control time is the key to academic success.

Have you ever wondered why some people never try new things? Quite a few people in today’s world are staying in their comfort zones not wanting to be put themselves in uncomfortable situations. People who avoid staying uncomfortable situations that are risky or different, tend to miss out on tons of new and exciting opportunities. Maggie Peikon says in her article “Why You Should Try New Things” that “The act of leaving our comfort zone puts us in a vulnerable position, and leaves us with an onslaught of questions running through our heads” (Pikon ). This quote warns people that being adventurous and experiencing unfamiliar that one might make one feel uncomfortable or lost throughout their journey.
In a five-day school week, I set aside two days as rest days, where I will only read and take notes on assigned school books. I plan for the upcoming three days that I will work on my educational goals, and enjoy my personal life. By setting aside personal time to enjoy life I have no excuses for distractions once I begin my school assignments. The three days that I have left are specifically planned and dedicated to my educational goals.
To be consistently learning, reliable, keeping up on my course work and work for my employment, to keep asking questions, and to keep enjoying college and employment. • Time Management Skills- To manage my time correctly. I am generally an adventurous person who is open to new experiences and making new friends. I believe that challenges are opportunities to learn and grow. When I read the book by Spencer Johnson “who moved my cheese”, I can relate to the mouse character Scurry “who is able to take immediate action and does what is necessary to deal with the change” and the little person Haw, “who eventually realizes that change is here to stay, does what is necessary to deal with the change and learns the lessons in dealing with future change”.
