Next, I am a diligent student. I try my hardest to accomplish every task without failure. I am that kind of person that has to work hard for what I desire and deserve. I also consider myself a responsible individual because I always own up to my wrongs. Lastly, I am a strong leader and not a follower, I am the type that strives for originality.

The book is primarily about Lieutenant Andrew Rowan and his perseverance and obedience to all orders given even in the face of fear and other obstacles in his path.

To be in National Junior Honor Society you have to have good character, citizenship,service, and leadership. First, I have good character. I take criticism willingly, and I also welcome recommendations. Second, I demonstrate citizenship well. Civic involvement is very important, and I have high regard to freedom, justice, and respect for the American form of government.

In 2016 our youth and society falls victim to the music industry and its impact on how we dress, dance and act. Music is a catalyst to allow others a glimpse into our minds. First and foremost graduating on February 27th 2015 with Class 002 of The Massachusetts Trial Court Officer Academy has to be my initial goal. Without completing this academy all the additional personal goals I have set for myself will mean nothing. Setting personal goals is my way to achieve the hard to reach accomplishments I strive for. Although there may be one main objective, before I can reach it, I set many “step goals” to focus on along the way. My first set of “step goals” was the application, résumé, and interview process to which I sought out a person I knew whose job was to read résumés and conduct interviews for the company Lockheed Martin.

Music can bring the brightest of joys that keeps us moving through our dull and boring lives. An example of this joy is Ishmael Beah’s life as a boy soldier in his book A Long Way Gone. As he tells you his story, he tells of his dance group with his friends, the times he heard music in the middle of war, and how music saved him from the madness that brewed within him. Music has the unique ability to create peace in a person’s life despite the difficulties surrounding them, and to bring a constant reminder of who they are as a person.

It captivates and motivates. As I attended a concert on Saturday, November 7, 2015, Lynyrd Skynyrd performed with power and feeling to their audience.

If my childhood was filled with anything: it was imagination. From my earliest memories of my cousin, and I putting on a sold out concert on my papaw’s front porch; to putting my baby dolls to sleep with lullabies. Music has always been a big part of my life: it was the one thing I could always count on, no matter where I went; and that still stands true today.

At a young age, I constantly wanted to express myself through music. I always found a way to incorporate music into my daily life, whether it be by blasting my favorite music, creating my own funky songs, or even having the opportunity to participate in my elementary school choir. I am in a high school marching band, where I play any piano-like instrument. Listening to music gives humans huge amount of benefits towards their personal life. A lot of students listen to music to, help reduce stress, boost up their mood and provides motivation in their daily life. Music is an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and affection in significant forms through the components of rhythm, melody, harmony, and colour. Some students use music to overcome the emotional effects of stress or anxiety when engaged in their leisure time, such as studying for a test or quiz, completing homework or assignments that they were given by teachers or lecturers, or while reading and writing. Most of the student choose to listen to their favorite genre of music when they study or do their homework without understanding
