Page 1: The day was boring. Other than a snack of carrots, there had been no excitement for Agu Gugu. He wanted to just play with toys in his room, but even that did not seem to be an option. Opening the door to his room, Gugu 's mother looked back at him.

IN THE BEGINNING The year is 3069. Dr. Smith and her husband are both marine biologists studying mutations in rats at their secluded science center, Murinae Labs, located on the distant island, Corsica. However, one tragic day, a hurricane crossed paths with Corsica Island, destroying the research center. Snatched by the storm, all of the 300 experimentation rats housed inside survived.

Generals Miki and Washizu are Samurai commanders under a local lord, Lord Tsuzuki, who reigns in the castle of the Spider's Web Forest. After defeating the lord's enemies in battle, they return to Tsuzuki's castle. On their way through the thick forest surrounding the castle, they meet a spirit, who foretells their future. The spirit tells them that today Washizu will be named Lord of the Northern Garrison and Miki will now be commander of the first fortress. She then foretells that Washizu will eventually become Lord of Spiderweb Castle, and finally she tells Miki that his son will also become lord of the castle.

Oikawa was home a morning late. He told Iwaizumi that he was going out clubbing with a few friends and be back before midnight. It was eight o 'clock in the morning and Iwaizumi stood up all night waiting for his husband to return home. He held their baby in his arms as he was crying all night long and finally fell asleep. Oikawa tried to sneak in, but with his husband sitting right in front of their door to his house, it was inevitable to sneak into their home without being caught.

Sonata’s stomach growled. This time, it didn’t leave her confused. After all, it had been one week since the destruction of her pendant and the appearance of previously unknown sensations such as hunger and thirst. She had gotten used to them.

Septimus Warren Smith, a thirty year old shell-shocked World War 1 veteran is lost in his own mind and has detached himself from reality. He believes that he is somehow connected to the tree’s and doesn't want them to be cut down. The motorcar that backfired outside Mulberry’s shop window took Septimus back in time to when he was in the war. He began blaming himself for the traffic the car caused “ It is I who am blocking the way” (Woolf 15), and envisions it bursting into flames. Towards the beginning of the novel, a plane flew by and spelled out the word “Toffee.”

The fighting was getting more intense and dangerous as the waves of husks kept on coming. Rol'Naaris kept firing his sniper rifle towards them and realized that half of the room was already covered in blood and bodies. He followed Sicaria towards the others and saw that everyone was trying to hold the position. Rol'Naaris had to helped them out and hold down the area before the husk could do some serious damage. His sniper rifle was still ready for firing while the tunnel was filled with an explosion.

In Chapter 1, the overall main idea that the author writes about is Gantos lifestyle in St. Croix leading him to the drug culture. The drugs being available everywhere especially the dope never made him think that it would lead him to trouble or jail. He talks about the consequences that St. Croix is dealing, the racism between blacks and whites. His plans in St. Croix changing with the racism situation leading his father jobs to get cancelled, having them work at building wooden packages. He later meets Rik who’s a dope smuggler since he always has him shipping his artifacts with extra protection.

Landon... Why would the gods send one of their most strongest creations here when they should've used it in the war. Strange... I don't think the Fafnir should tackle someting of this magnitude just yet, or should he? It'll be a gamble.

He smiles for the first time in a long time when he saw the military force accepted him. Paul saw him and get scared because he had like an ambition smile, he really wanted to kill them all. ‘’Edward!” he yelled ‘’are you okay”. He stops smiling, and like when someone wakes up, he rapidly looks at Paul and then slowly again to the Warriors (the military force name) card that says he was accepted.

The afternoon is illuminated by summer sunshine, with amethyst crocuses and pearl white lilies blooming in the gardens. As Jacob guides you through the grassy knolls surrounding your manor, still carrying on about how he'd "let you win" your last Quidditch match, you feel a sudden, searing pain on your wrist that tears you from your reverie. Jacob turns, zeroing in on the arm you cradle against your chest, "Did you fall?" he says, his lips twisted into a displeased pucker, "Mother will kill me if you have. You know how she feels about you play—" "-I didn't.
