He is serving his tenth year in the House at forty-seven years old. He resides in his home state of Wisconsin where he graduated from Joseph A. Craig High School. North Platte was still a town in the United States in World War Two. This meant they were still given ration books. North Platte and all the surrounding towns helping the canteen had limitations on sugar, coffee, gasoline, among many other items. People stopped drinking coffee, and children stopped asking for birthday cakes. Together they pooled together all of their rations to make food for the soldiers.

Eisenhower cites four main pieces of evidence. He first cites the unfortunately high number of fatalities and injuries on the current highways. Eisenhower argues that the more than thirty six thousand wounded and more than one million injured highway users put a high financial burden not only on the individual family who faces tragedy, but also on the nation. In Eisenhower 's report, he states, “But reliable estimates place the measurable economic cost of the highway accident toll to the Nation at more than $4.3 billion a year.” With this information, Eisenhower shows that with an updated highway system, accidents, and thus costs, could be cut considerably.

It is sad so much confusion surrounds Initiative 42, especially when nearly 200,000 Mississippians signed petitions to have it placed on the November ballot to amend the state Constitution. If passed, Initiative 42 will hold the Mississippi legislature accountable for keeping its promise to fully fund public schools. That should be simple enough, but Governor Bryant has done everything within his power to confuse the issue. Is he that two-faced?

The Deferred Action for Parents of Americans is an executive action President Barack Obama plans on implementing in order to try and control illegal immigration. Its main goal is to deport illegal immigrants back to their home country who have a criminal history while providing those with a clean record an opportunity “to temporarily stay in the U.S. without fear of deportation” (). A way to be more conducive to an effective change in immigration policies would be to change the acceptance date to January 1st, 2000. DAPA, or also known as the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans, is an initiative requested by President Barack Obama that “would provide approximately 5 million illegal aliens access to work permits and social security cards”

Chris McCandless was in his early 20’s, he was the kind of that guy that wanted to learn and experience life without all of the material things. He wanted to be independent from his parents and friends so Chris did something that would be insane for most of us humans but to him, it wasn’t. He went into the wild of Alaska for months, in fact, McCandless even thought he could make it out alive at the end of his journey. As a matter of fact, he was known as being a risk taker and enjoyed being out and about in the nature side of the world. Many would believe that Chris McCandless went into the wild to purposely kill himself; however, I myself believe that McCandless did not do it purposely.

What are the Republicans afraid of? Is their creditability and integrity so questionable that they feel compelled to silence all potential opposition? With the year-round pressure pertaining to college applications on high school seniors follows the impending decision of choosing an appropriate college major. Generally, the decision-making process involves prioritizing one field of interest over another, however, due to globalization and constant innovation in technology determining a college major has increasingly become the modern day equivalent of the metaphorical line between life and death. Even so, the obvious choice would be the prestigious STEM fields over liberal arts due to the instant job opportunities which are seemingly ludicrous to a recent graduate. Nevertheless, liberal arts education should be encouraged to be pursued at higher education institutions in USA because it helps

In Ben Robert-Smith’s opinion piece published in the Herald Sun on the 16th of January, 2017 “We Are One but We Are Many”, Robert- Smith addresses he Addresses the Australian public with the argument that is changing the date of Australia day from January 26th. He argues that the date should remain the same but should be undertaken in a manner that is “inclusive and respectful” of other Australian’s interpretation of the day. Comparatively, in Kevin V.
