Why did the Industrial Revolution Start in England? There are many reasons on why Great Britain was the first country to industrialize but the most significant reason would be the coal and iron reason and also the reason of navigable rivers and canals. Britain had huge deposits of coal which were used to power all new machines made of iron or steel. Moreover, steam-powered machinery and the locomotive were powered by coal. Great Britain had the ability to rapid the pace and cheapened the cost of carriage of raw materials and finished products such as clothes. Therefore, navigable rivers and canals made world trade possible by transporting raw materials to European countries. In addition, European countries took advantage of shipbuilding,
Much like it did during the slave trade, Britain obtained numerous valuable materials through trade and many found jobs in shipbuilding. In conclusion, the slave trade was the most important factor to the development of the British economy in the 18th century. Although the industrial revolution and trade with empire countries created many new jobs, the slave trade created jobs from shipbuilding to factory work and resulted in Britain earning many new useful materials. It also greatly improved British ports, as the money made was used to build expensive new
The 19th century brought factories that could mass-produce products with machines and workers assigned to different tasks. This sparked the Industrial Revolution. Britain was the first nation to be industrialized. They built factories and made money from them and built more factories making the nation industrialized. America became industrialized due to Thomas Jefferson’s Embargo Act and the War of 1812.
Firstly the Industrial Revolution began due to the primary focus of the 19th century being economic growth and expansion. The Industrial Revolution was essentially an era of new manufacturing procedures and new manufactured goods. This period exposed us to a notable “great inventor” who was called Eli Whitney. He gave us the popular invention of the cotton gin which made the process of separating seeds from cotton easier and less time consuming. Whitney also introduced us to interchangeable parts which made the creation of weapons quicker and cheaper.
Have you ever wondered when new machines like the cotton gin were first invented? The Industrial Revolution first began and grew in England because of its natural resources, geography, and innovations. During the start of the Industrial Revolution, (early 1800s), all new machines were being invented and slaves were now longer owned and forced to work in fields. Factory products were booming while people were working in them; including children! One reason the Industrial Revolution began in England is because of its natural resources.

During this time, the people started to use natural resources such as coal and water to develop factories and machinery, which led to the making of cheaper goods. It was accompanied by many inventors who created technology to develop the production of goods.
First, people fled to the cities for work. Like I stated previously, many people were looking for a fresh start into their lives. The Industrial Revolution happened to be the answer they had been hoping for. Working in the factories was the smartest move that England's people made. Their lives would begin to change for the better; although, it would take some time and patience.
The Industrial Revolution began in England in the 1700’s. England was the starting point of the Industrial Revolution for many reasons. It started not just because they had the right resources but they had true grit. The revolution boomed because England had the right resources, the workers came running for work and inventions were made to make the process of the work, flow a lot faster and more efficient. First, England had the right resources to help advance their society which in return let them start the Industrial Revolution.
The Industrial Revolution was a huge part of American history, but, many people do not realize how greatly our geography assisted the growth of the industry. England, where the revolution began, contains a majority of resources, similar to the states, that helped the industrial revolution greatly (Document 4). A few of the being coal, which has a source of energy; cotton and wool, both used to create textiles; iron, lead, and tin, all metals used to build factories and machinery (Document 1). Changes in agriculture also helped a great deal to get the Industrial Revolution on its feet.
The Industrial Revolution was a time of exponential growth in factories and agriculture through mechanization. Great Britain was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, beginning in the late 1700s till the mid-1800s. The mechanization of farming made growing crops more effective and efficient. Therefore fewer people were needed in agriculture and were forced into urbanization to find work. Cities population drastically increased during the revolution due to the immigration of rural workers.
The Industrial Revolution needed Labor, Natural resources, Capital. The Industrial Revolution began in Britain because it had more labors and more crops and the natural resources of Industrial Revolution is iron and coal and waterways. The Industrial Revolution a lot of products were changing and they were made of machines. Although the economic effects of the Industrial Revolution were somewhat negative because of hard working conditions it was mostly positive because workers had more rights and they had more products.
Steamships allowed goods and people to be transported more quickly and efficiently than ever before. The steamship also facilitated the growth of international trade, as goods could be transported across the Atlantic Ocean more quickly and cheaply. This expansion of international trade fueled the growth of industries such as textiles, which relied on raw materials such as cotton that were grown in other parts of the
The Industrial Revolution began in England in the 1700’s within the textile industry. The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes by using different machines. Before the Industrial Revolution people made different things by hand or simple tools. For example, people wove textiles by hand, and after the Industrial Revolution machines were used instead. The Industrial Revolution began in England because of many reasons.
The industrial Revolution was one of the most important revolution in the history of mankind. It made it possible for today's technology. What was responsible for the industrial revolution? There was three major points that help the boost of technology in Britain. One was the easy available coal that could be obtained easier than most other countries.
From 1760 to 1840, the Industrial Revolution appeared and developed in England. The political advantages in England launched the start of the Industrial Revolution. The Parliament, provided by the government, was created between 1800-1810, and gave permission for innovators to create machinery. This introduced a profit motive and rise of scientific ideas. With the support of political input, commoners and entrepreneurs were able to create their own wealth.
The Industrial Revolution began in England for many reasons. In 1700s,Britain 's economy was mainly an agricultural economy. Wealthy landowners bought up all the land and enclosed their land with fences allowing them to cultivate larger fields called enclosures. This caused the enclosure movement, which put most small farmers out of work causing them to move to cities. This movement to cities is known as urbanization, which gave Britain a large population of workers.
