Athletic Trainer
I always wanted to become an Athletic trainer as I was growing up. I never really knew too much about it, but when I started doing my research on being an Athletic trainer, I actually knew more than I thought. Being an Athletic trainer I wanted to learn more information about it. I wanted to find out how much the salary would be and also if they were really needed. By using the MS Choices program, the Internet and a personal interview I discovered the meaning and interesting facts about being an Athletic trainer.

Since I wanted to be an Athletic trainer I will have to have at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A master’s degree program as also common degree programs has classes and clinical components that I could take to help such as biology, anatomy, physiology and nutrition. There is a program that is called (CAATE) Commission on Accreditation of Athletic trainer programs. I also took the time out to find out how much the salary was for an Athletic trainer and I found out that it is $43,370 dollars per year, and that were only in the month May 2014. The median wage is the wage at which half the works in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $27,610 and the highest 10 percent earned more than $67,070. I finally started looking up some similar occupations that was related to being an Athletic trainer and I found out some that was related. If you set the football cap at 3 million and basketball at 650,000 thousand that would still not equal the amount that a lot of coaches of major programs make so it is affordable according to Nocera. I started noticing that all of my friends were surpassing me in soccer and becoming a lot better than me. I asked myself, “how am I going to become the greatest soccer player in the world if I rarely practice and all my friends are becoming better than me?”.
