Lizzie along with Bridget Sullivan where in the house, Bridget along with John did not get questioned. According to article #3 14 reasons to believe Lizzie murdered her parents suggests that “ It looked like an inside job. Police found no signs of forced entry into the Borden home.” Even though this article is why she did murder her parents it provides some very important facts. There was no sign of forced entry that means some inside could have done it, so who was also in the house, Bridget. Guess what Bridget was not questioned.
Lastly, little was known about the murderers, but they just assumed that she did. There was no evidence that she did it she was just blamed. People might say that she had a motive and that is enough to prove it. In Lizzie Borden: Murderess or Media Sensation it states that “There was no physical evidence linking her to the murders” There was no evidence that she did the murders. They didn't question anybody but Lizzie. Anyone could have done it. This just proves that Lizzie did not do
The truth is, Mary Surratt should not have been hanged for her “crimes.” She was innocent because she didn’t do anything
Lizzie Borden is guilty of homicide of Andrew and Abby Borden because Lizzie’s investigations were never done correctly, Lizzie was doing peculiar things days before the murders, and Lizzie and her stepmother had bad blood. Lizzie Bordens investigation was never done correctly. Lizzie's room was never searched for any evidence. According to Bio.com, back then during
During the 20th century, this was not an outrageous claim. Women would tend to their menstrual cycle by using cloths as protection. Yet, the only reason why this evidence was removed from the court and the trial was because she was a woman. Had a man who lived with women sat in Lizzie’s position, the idea most likely would never be discussed. The dismissal of the provided evidence furthered the pity Lizzie received from the media and public alike.
The murder of Lizzie Borden’s father, Andrew borden, and her stepmother Abby Borden has been an ongoing mystery over 100 years now. No one has seemed to figure out the real murderer. A main suspect that the police had interviewed was Lizzie borden, the daughter to Andrew Borden and step daughter to Abby Borden. Yet no one has seemed to figure out the real murderer. I believe Lizzie borden murdered her parents with having satisfaction that she covered it up so well.
“Lizzie Borden took an ax, and gave her mother forty whacks when she saw what she had done, She gave her father forty-one” the infamous song of Lizzie Borden allegedly accused of both the murders of her father and stepmother. But now come to think could she really have been innocent? There are many suspicious details leading to her being guilty but Lizzie was declared innocent. So now the suspicion begins. Despite the many information on the Lizzie Borden case, I believe Lizzie Borden should have been proven guilty.
Lizzie was acquitted of the murdering her parents but there wasn't enough physical evidence against her to prove that she was the axe murderer that killed her parents. Lizzie hid her steps very well and played it off real cool but she forgot one thing this is the 21 century and although it has never been really solve I can show you my thinking of what happened. In the first article Lizzie Borden murderess or media sensation. It states¨There is no physical evidence leading her to the murders.¨Although they did not find any physical evidence.
After a couple of months Abby Borden noticed that her jewelry and about forty dollars was stolen from the house. Both Lizzie and Emma denied having any acknowledgement of how this could have happened. The maid at the time was with Mrs. Borden the entire day and could not have committed the theft. The police began to investigate on the matter, however they were quickly dismissed by Mr. Borden’s request to drop all charges. However hatred still was high among the two girls and Mrs. Borden.
She spent most of the trial knitting, fainted away at the sight of her parents’ skulls, and played the upper class lady in all instances. By buying into the established norms of female behavior, Lizzie showed the world that she was also a woman who could not perform such a violent act as an axe murder.” This most likely played a large part in the decision made by the jury during the initial trial; Which leads one to believe that Borden most likely was not properly prosecuted. In terms of O.J. Simpson, he was known as a celebrity who was “untouchable” and “perfect.” According to the very well regarded news publication “The Washington Times,” in an article named “A history lesson for the kids: Why the O.J. Simpson trial was such a big deal,” it states,” All of this setup is to show that O.J. Simpson was really, really famous by the time June 1994 rolled around.
The opposing side of the argument may say Mary planned on the death of her husband though evidence says otherwise. When Mary went down to the freezer she “took hold of the first object she found” displaying how Mary didn’t deliberately grab a weapon to use on Patrick’s death and his actual killing was not clearly thought-out by Mary, proving diminished capacity and not murder. Mary Maloney deeply loved her husband and her child, through Patricks’ violence push her to her limits. No criminal intent was for sought when Mary’s state of mind obscurely went after Patrick. All in all Mary wasn’t in her right mind whyen all of this took place.
Like Abigail utterly told liars about how Elizabeth spirit had stabbed her at the dinner table but actually Abigail framed Goody Proctor with the doll Mary Warren had made as evidence to stable herself. Also Abigail accused Mary Warren for working with the devil in the setting of act three in the courtroom. The girls in courtroom acted as if Mary spirit was attacking them ,to scare her back to their side. Giles Corey also accused Thomas Putnam for being gluttonous for more land and therefore accusing his neighbors for it.

Many events in history have gone unanswered and one of those events was the killing of the Bordens. The book has three separate parts to it and they are all very well detailed. The Borden family consisted of Andrew, the father, Abby the stepmother to Andrew 's daughters, Lizzie and Emma, Andrews two daughters and Bridget, the house maid. They all lived together in Fall River until on August 17, 1892 when Bridget was out cleaning windows, Emma was out of town, and Lizzie was in the back yard a gruesome killing happened. Arnold R. Brown wrote this book primarily to uncover the truth about who killed the couple while either proving or disclaiming theories that have surrounded the story.
I think that Lizzie borden is guilty because of these reasons. Her stories were all over the place and the details were always different. There was no scuffle or any kind of trying to fight back between either of them. The rooms were clean after the murder. How could anyone clean up so quickly without being caught?
