Chick-fil-A was originally named The Dwarf Grill and later The Dwarf House until finally renaming to Chick-fil-A in 1967. Today, the CEO of Chick-fil-A is S. Truett Cathy’s grandson, Andrew Truett Cathy. Chick-fil-A is a fast-food chain with over 140,000 team members across the United States. Chick-fil-A is part of the competitive fast-food industry focusing on efficiency and customer experience. Their target market is largely focused on middle and upper-middle class. Chick-fil-A’s prices are not the cheapest, but they make up for the price increase by their customer experience. As I approached the Chick-fil-A, which is fairly average size building for a fast food restaurant, the scent of chicken filled the air. I noticed outside that the restaurant had different advertising posters on each of the lamp posts surrounding the parking lot. The drive-thru line was backed up almost to where it reach the front part of the building. The neighboring fast food chain, Panda Express, had just one car in its drive-thru.
