The purpose of this lab is to use the combined gas law to find the new volume of the can after the temperature has changed. Also in this lab, the volume changes again and it is found using water displacement. The dependent variable in this lab would be the volume. The independent variable in this lab would be the temperature. Under the microscope, solids can be seen as particles in a highly ordered or fixed position. Liquids can be seen as particles that can move loosely and start to show some disorder to them. Gases present a picture of almost total disorder presenting voids between the particles. On January 18, 2015, the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts played in the AFC Championship game in a chilly temperature of 51°F. The Patriots were accused of cheating when, at half time, 11 of their 12 game balls were found to be two pounds psi less than the regulation size of 12.5 to 13.5 psi. Although the balls are gauged 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to the game, they are returned to the teams before the game started. Based on extensive research and data, the Patriots’ balls were tampered with prior to the game. Objects with gaseous interiors have a tendency to decrease in pressure when exposed to cold temperatures but the decrease will only be minor.

The gummy bear's mass and volume will increase while the density of the gummy bear would decrease after it is put into water overnight. (#)This lab experimented to figure out wah changes would take to the gummy bear’s mass, volume, and density after sitting in a cup of water overnight. To do this the gummy bear's dimensions and weight was taken on the first day, along with its density and then the gummy bear was placed and water. When the gummy bear was taken out of the water on day two, the dimensions, weight, and density were taken again, and the difference between the two days was found. (#1)
Conclusion: The objective of this lab was to determine the velocity of an object moving down an incline by applying the Law of Conservation of Energy. This velocity would then be compared to the experimental velocities to calculate the percent error. This objective was accomplished by releasing a dynamics cart on a dynamics track with different initial and final heights. The height of the ramp was changed by using textbooks to prop up one end of the ramp.
Stoichiometry is a method used in chemistry that involves using relationships between reactants and products in a chemical reaction, to determine a desired quantitative data. The purpose of the lab was to devise a method to determine the percent composition of NaHCO3 in an unknown mixture of compounds NaHCO3 and Na2CO. Heating the mixture of these two compounds will cause a decomposition reaction. Solid NaHCO3 chemically decomposes into gaseous carbon dioxide and water, via the following reaction: 2NaHCO3(s) Na2CO3(s) + H2O(g) + CO2(g). The decomposition reaction was performed in a crucible and heated with a Bunsen burner.
VARIABLES: There are independent variables, dependent variables, and controls. the one that is being tested and the one that is the inconsistent variable in the Independent variable like the volume and surface area of the agar cubes. The variable that is kept consistent is the dependent variable such as the percentage of diffusion of pigment in the agar cubes. The constant variable is the features of the experiment that is kept the same throughout the entire experiment such as, the amount of time the agar cubes are left in the beaker and the amount of acid in the beaker.
II. Introduction: For this lab, students are getting knowledge and understanding of how many types of energy work while throwing an object from high position to the lower position. It also depends on a certain level, energy will changes while throwing an object up and down. Students will also learn about the principle of the physics, which are the law of conservation of energy.

The law describes that when the pressure of a gas remains the same/constant, the volume of the gas is directly proportional to the temperature. This means that when the volume increases, the temperature increases, and oppositely the same would happen if the the volume had decreased. In the experiment, the law supports my results because when the volume increased, so did the temperature.

The purpose of this lab was to determine the molar volume of Hydrogen gas and compare it with the value predicted by the Ideal Gas Law. In this lab, I was able to calculate the number of moles of H2 produced and measure the volume of H2 gas produced and also notice how the volume, temperature and pressure changed when it had a reaction with different amounts of Zinc. In the first experiment, I determined the change of temperature, pressure and volume in Hydrogen differing from its initial temperature, pressure and volume. After adding 0.250 g of Zinc to the first part and 0.500 g of Zinc to the second part experiment to Hydrogen gas and using the Ideal Gas Law, I could notice an increase of pressure and temperature in the experiment while
