Throughout his career, Tesla discovered, designed and developed ideas for a number of important inventions — most of which were officially patented by other inventors — including dynamos (electrical generators similar to batteries) and the induction motor. He was also a pioneer in the discovery of radar technology, X-ray technology, remote control and the rotating magnetic field — the basis of most AC machinery. Tesla is most well-known for his contributions in AC electricity and for the Tesla coil.
AC Electrical System
Tesla designed the alternating-current (AC) electrical system, which would quickly become the preeminent power system of the 20th century and has remained the worldwide standard ever since. In 1887, Tesla found funding for his new Tesla Electric Company, and by the end of the year he had successfully filed several patents for AC-based inventions.

Childhood and Education
Nikola Tesla was one of five children, including siblings Dane, Angelina, Milka and Marica. Tesla's interest in electrical invention was spurred by his mother, Djuka Mandic, who invented small household appliances in her spare time while her son was growing up. Tesla's father, Milutin Tesla, was a Serbian orthodox priest and a writer, and he pushed for his son to join the priesthood. But Nikola's interests lay squarely in the sciences.
After studying at the Realschule, Karlstadt (later renamed the Johann-Rudolph-Glauber Realschule Karlstadt); the Polytechnic Institute in Graz, Austria; and the University of Prague during the 1870s, Tesla moved to Budapest, where for a time he worked at the Central Telephone Exchange. It was while in Budapest that the idea for the induction motor first came to Tesla, but after several years of trying to gain interest in his invention, at age 28 Tesla decided to leave Europe for America.

Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27th, 1858 in the large city Manhattan, New York. As a young boy, Theodore would read several books a week. He would write daily diaries and he wrote his first book when he was a teenager. This definitely helped Theodore become president. Theodore had asthma when he was young, and he exercised daily to improve his health.
He did not begin his career in inventing until 1884 when he Got his first patent for an improved design of a steam boiler furnace. Even though his tough childhood may have held him back at first it is very possible that it was the reason that he made all of these inventions that so many of us use
Zachary Taylor was born November 24th, 1784 in Orange county Virginia. His father was Richard Taylor, a lieutenant of the Revolutionary War. His mother was Sarah Dabney Strothers Taylor. He had six brothers and three sisters. His father received a large piece of land in Kentucky for his service in the war.
Thomas Jefferson was born April 13, 1748 in Shadwell Virginia. His mother, Jane Randolph Jefferson, was a family claiming descent from English and Scottish royalty. His father, Peter Jefferson, was a successful farmer and a skilled surveyor. In Zachary Taylor’s early life, he lived in Orange County, Va. Taylor was raised on a tobacco plantation outside of Louisville,Ky. He was a descendant of William Brewster. He was born on November 24,1784 in Barboursville, Va. He received only a rudimentary education, but he was well schooled in farming,horsemanship, and using a musket.
Andrew Carnegie was born on November 25, 1835 to William Carnegie and Margaret Morrison Carnegie in Dunfermline, Scotland. Carnegie’s father was a linen weaver, but in 1847, steam- powered looms became popular in Dunfermline leaving many of the hand loom weavers unneeded. Margaret Carnegie stepped up to the plate to provide for the family by repairing shoes and opening a small grocery store. In 1848, Carnegie and his parents made the passage to America where they joined his mother’s sisters in Pittsburgh. Carnegie later wrote that he would learn what it was like to live in poverty and to watch his father beg for money.
Nikola Tesla and his accomplishments he achieved are so historically significant that his name left a mark on history and people acknowledge his work today. He helped to build America’s economy during some of its more vulnerable years as a new nation. Thomas Edison’s inventions have helped to advance our society though his dedications and knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and chemical sciences.

Analysis: Tesla has proven to make an extensive impact in the market. Keeping the company’s position in the high-end industry, Tesla is able to represent just like companies like Apple a high-end product that appeals only to a certain customer base. Tesla is constantly innovating their product in a way that the newest technologies will be incorporated in the production process of the car and the products the companies develop itself too. Tesla is the first major company to have inherited an electric car only automobile production company, which is nearly impossible considering the weak demand for electric cars today. Most car manufacturers today only devote a small part of their product line to electric cars, meaning that they do not want to take the risks of completely changing to electric only cars as fears of reducing the demand for their products is real and because there is still more demand for conventional petrol driven cars.
