In the beginning, Juliet was a shy innocent girl who always obeyed her parents. The quote by Lord Capulet, “My child is yet a stranger in the world, she hath not seen the charge of fourteen years. . . " shows how she was immature and not ready to endure all of the love she had with Romeo. However, Romeo brought passion and excitement into Juliet’s life. He challenged her to think beyond what her parents wanted.

To begin with, Romeo is all too eager to find love, and rushes to find a new pretty face. Immediately after laying eyes on Juliet, Romeo is transfixed and believes that it is true love. Later that night, he wishes to marry her, saying that he can have satisfaction with “The exchange of thy love’s faithful vow for mine” (II. 2. 127). Romeo knows nothing about Juliet, only that she is the most beautiful girl that he has ever seen. Even after his last relationship fails, Romeo does not learn.

Love made Romeo and Juliet feel like they had to be with each other. Their brains’ reaction to this intense love caused them to think impulsively and die. All in all, Romeo and Juliet’s brains reacted poorly to their romance, which caused them to disregard their fate and tragically

II. Comparison and Contrast: These two literary pieces are one of the saddest love stories in literature. In most romances, their love bloomed slowly and their love was truly above all and became the purpose of their lives, loving each other till their last breath. These two literary pieces are one of the best stories that I’d ever read, and it was so wonderful and breathtaking, reading this gave me a thrill of suspense, while thinking how to compare and contrast between the two literary pieces, the common is that both are all about love and tragedy. Romeo and Juliet is forbidden to fall in love because of their family having an ongoing feud, and had a love at first sight, they are expressing their love secretly and privately for their family

One of the first bad decisions Romeo made was to chose to go to that party for a girl named Rosaline. When he sees Juliet, he completely forgets about Rosaline (Shakespeare, Act I, Scene ii, Page 385). This evidence shows how Romeo is immature and “falls in love” very quickly.

Romeo at this point is feeling romantic and wants to go back to be with Juliet. Due to his romanticness, Romeo has become desperate and must be with Juliet.

The first reason that Romeo and Juliet are not in love due to the fact that they are too childish to fully understand what love is. During the famous balcony scene, Juliet says, “But to be frank, and give [my love to] thee again, And yet I wish but for the thing I have. My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.” (2.2.31-35).

Romeo and juliet do not have fully developed brains. They are still teenagers, They don't have a full understanding of what love is and how it works. Romeo and juliet were under the stress of their family's. Romeo wanted to get married as soon as possible thinking that their families vendettas would end, juliet agreed and they decided to get married, As with most suicides, there is more to the story than just the ending. It’s never just that they wanted to end their life.

Romeo and Juliet were not in love. They scarcely knew each other, and they were just adolescents. Even Juliet's father, Lord Capulet thought she was too young, he even says, “My daughter is still very young. She’s not even fourteen years old. ”(1.2.7-8).

Romeo blurts to himself, “‘Did my heart love till now? Forswear it sight!/ For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night’”(1.5.57-58). Romeo had just been madly in love with Rosaline, but as soon as he sees Juliet it is love at first sight. The irony of this scene intrigues the audience because it keeps them guessing who Romeo is in love with more.

This quick and meaningless portrayal of “love at first sight” falls under the lust category rather than love. Carolyn Butler explains the brain system of lust as “ primarily mediated by the sex hormone testosterone,” which at its peak during adolescence.

Not only do Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other; but they also get married, and ultimately end up killing themselves in order to be with each other. In William Shakespeare's tragedy, “Romeo and Juliet,” the impulsive decisions of the two main characters prove that young love is often irrational. Although they have only just met that evening, Romeo and Juliet make the impulsive decision to get married the following day. Romeo and Juliet met each other on a Monday night at a party.

From the moment he sees her at the Capulet party, Romeo immediately falls in love with Juliet. They both fall head over heels for each other as the night progresses. During their time together, they completely put all things aside and forget everything about the world except for their love for one another. Most people seem to think this way about the romance between Romeo and Juliet, but in reality, they aren’t actually truly in love. Romeo and Juliet are not in love with each other because just a day before they met, he felt heartbroken because of a girl named Rosaline who didn 't love him, he pressures Juliet to profess her love to him, and after just barely meeting, they both agree to get married.

Later that same night Juliet stumbles across Romeo at the masked ball and immediately falls in love with him. She even lets him kiss her (1.5.105-110). The fact that she allows Romeo to do this could be explained by her age. She is a young girl who doesn’t know how to handle the situation properly.
