Each person has the power to influence the world. David Brodwin (2015) in the article “Unsustainable America” describes the situation of American consumers toward sustainability compared with other consumers from other countries that are interested about this issue. Thus, Brodwin explains the reactions of the people in some countries about the sustainably produced. In fact the article has interesting points with cataleptic and objective tones, but the author has biased through the benefit for America.

It is fair to say that most would not want to live in a world without electricity, but if society cannot agree on an energy to use, this imaginary world could become a very real way of life. “Citizens and community members everywhere are seeking smart solutions to our biggest problem - the ecological collapse” (“Top 10 Pros and Cons” 1). The United States’ economy has been fueled by fossil fuels since the Industrial Revolution in the 1800s. Then, the early 1900s introduced a new, versatile source, oil. Through the 1950s, most Americans viewed rapid economic growth and high consumer spending as positive trends but this prosperity was fouling air and water and damaging natural resources.

Gasoline and diesel are fossil fuels and aren 't infinite. Battery electricity are better, they don’t pollute and don 't burn fossil fuels. Instead of having a gas tank and having to fill it up at a gas station, these cars have batteries in their place and can be recharged with a larger charging station and needs 220 volts. The recharged batteries stay charged until the car is driven. Some people say that battery powered cars are slower, but it isn’t by much and battery powered cars think is worth slowing down a little if it means saving the planet.

I feel concerned that anthropogenic activities have damaged the atmosphere which has led to severe detrimental effects over time. Studying Chemistry enabled me to learn the science behind global warming and the consequences for it. This made me think, what current technology could be further utilised to reduce greenhouse gas emission to the atmosphere? Due to this, I want to talk about electric vehicles as I feel that electric cars are the future of humankind. I will persuade you to leave behind the poisonous, toxic, filthy fumes of your present vehicle and switch to an electric car.

In the industry of automobiles, electric vehicles are a new emerging concept. Different automobile companies have modeled their cars with different specifications.
