Ronald Reagan could have definitely been impeached by the standards used on the governors governors (malfeasance, misfeasance or nonfeasance) mainly because of the many things that he had done during his presidency. There were were reports from Beirut that the Reagan administration approached Iran with an arms for hostage deal but President Ronald Reagan denied it.Days later he did admit that arms had been shipped to Iran to forge a better relationship but denied they were arms for hostages. He negotiated with terrosists! If that does not scream impeachment then I do not know what does.

Though Reagan and Bush found tax cuts effective for the economy, the budget deficit continues to rise. As President Ronald Reagan takes office in 1981, he proposed tax cuts and reduced non-defense expenditures to increase military spending to Congress. Reagan believed that tax cuts would create more job opportunities for people and increase tax revenue in the long run. Lee et al. (2012) found “The tax cuts adopted in 1997, unlike those of 1981, were accompanied by offsetting expenditure reductions, so there was not as much of a reduction in federal revenue… therefore federal revenues did not increase” (Public Budgeting Systems, p. 74).

He was a New Right Conservative, with many conservative policies.

I think that he did improve the economy by everything he was changing and fixing. Reagan’s main importance was for us to win the cold war because he thought all people deserved to be free. Tax mitigation would be a push forward for people to spend and invest more in the economy. The now spending prosperity would upgrade the economy and create new and more jobs. Ronald’s reasoning for this proposition is that the tax cut would very possibly engender the most at the current time revenue for the federal government. Even though congress did not believe in this act as much as Reagan, they approved a twenty-five percent cut during Ronald’s first term.
