The way that the authors used logos was the fact that both are all about the facts. A lot of the article talks about straight facts and how things happened throughout the era of the Holocaust. They talk about how rules were written to keep the children safe and how to do so without people questioning them. An exact number of how many kids were saved is not known. Other facts that do a good job and support their claim can catch the reader’s eye. Ethos is used by using facts to back up their arguments and claims. Readers should be able to trust that the authors one finds that they know what they are talking about. After some research of each author, they are both trustworthy writers. Another thing is the politics, politics are very important to the society that we live in so it would be safe to say that the authors could easily be trusted with the information they portray. For a lot people who have kids this article could hit home. It is good that the authors related to people who read this article. It may be emotional, but that is how writers can interact and connect to their readers. It is very important that the authors do that because then it makes people want to read it and want to tell other people to read it. Another thing that is good about using relatable topics is that it makes people stop and think and reflect on the topic. When this happens, people can ask questions and talk to the authors about the article. Another thing it does when making people think and ask questions it challenges the authors and when they can answer the questions it just add and builds up more trustworthiness. Alejandra Gomez Campaign Conclusion In every presidential campaign, candidates and their PR team work hard to grab the attention of their audience. As of today, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump all used similar techniques to appeal to the people. Using the different elements; Ethos, Pathos and Logos the people were able to decide which side they want to support. Using Ethos, Pathos and Logos helped my team and I create an interesting yet informative campaign.
The picture above is an example of the two rhetorics pathos and logos. This picture conveys both an emotional, portraying the cigarette as a gun, and a logical, the statistic that over 106,000 people die from cigarette related deaths each year, advertisement strategy. Pathos, mostly emotional impact on a reader, is clearly illustrated in the advertisement as through the picture of a hand holding a cigarette and the shadow of that hand is the shadow of a gun. This portrays the feeling that cigarettes are as lethal and malicious as that of the lethality of a firearm. Also, the advertisement channels the rhetoric of logos by providing a surprising legistic about the volatile deaths caused by the use of cigarettes.

When a topic is under discussion, there are many strategies that can be implemented in order to communicate and transmit a point of view. First of all I analyze the audience, a correct study of the audience can give us the chance to choose the right approach. Then, I try to be specific and confident when I present my opinion, and use pathos, logos and ethos. Pathos are required to connect with the audience and give them the possibility to relate with the theme. Logos are a strong resource that supports the ideas that are under discussion, always a serious source is a perfect reference.

Ethos is a method of writing that appeals to the reader’s ethics. Ethos can also show if a type of writing is credible or not. Kairos is another type of writing that is commonly associated with logos, pathos, and ethos but it is far less common than the three. It creates a decisive moment in one’s writing, and although the author did not use it in his writing, it is still a very important writing method. The author is going to use pathos, logos, and ethos to try to convince his readers that his article is very effective in persuading people to believe what he wants them to believe.
This also is based on pathos because it's all about emotion and the tragic event. For example “Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery.” this appeals to Logos because there wasn't a way to get them back. It shows reasoning on why he said this because if anything went wrong the crowd wouldn't have hope, but would know they knew from the start. This also appeals to pathos due to the fact it controls the audience's emotion.
Quintyn Brady Zaivion Cade Debra Giles Molinda Hollie Zharia Simmons Title Abe Fortas makes a better argument due to his wide variety of rhetorical devices, contributing information on the circumstances of the case properly educating the audience on what’s being presented. Fortas’ management of rhetorical devices gives a clear viewpoint of different perspectives being confronted to the audience. Abe Fortas uses superb diction throughout his argument in the Tinker v. Des Moines case. For instance, “That is the basis of our national strength and of the independence and vigor of Americans who grow up and live in the relatively permissive , often disputatious society.”

September 11, 2001 is a day that has gone down in history as a tragic day in American history due to the horrific terrorist attacks caused by the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda. A couple of hours later following the attacks previous president George W Bush delivered a much-needed reassurance and a sense of leadership to the American people in his address to the nation when most American felt uneasy and unsure of what the future would look like. Bush uses several examples of Pathos, Ethos and Logos along with several uses of rhetorical devices to get American moral up from the ground. Pathos was used to evoke emotional responses from the audience. Logos was used to appeal to the audience’s sense of logic and reason the audience.
The most difficult thing an author can do when telling a story, is attracting an audience, and maintaining the audience’s engagement. In Serial, while telling the story of Adnan Syed, Sarah Koenigs attracts the audience with her purpose which is proving that Adnan Syed was wrongfully convicted and isn't completely guilty. Sarah maintains the attention of her audience by using emotional, and logical appeal, while also establishing credibility. In other words she uses the rhetoric made up of Pathos, Logos, and Ethos.
