The extreme measures used by the French Revolutionary Government were not justified by any means. One reason being their brutal practices used against the enemies of the revolution. For example, the spine-tingling Guillotine. Another reason being the moral beliefs of the revolution opposing the behavior of the French Government. For instance, when the government took people’s independence continuously by completing actions that went against the ideals. Lastly threats used against the internal and external enemies were not needed and uttermost radical. A model of this is when the Government was killing people just to punish them.
