I think J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because she has a very vast imagination. When she got married she was abused by her husband. When she felt sad she invented spells or potions she would use against him if she were a witch. Later, when she obtained a divorce, she brought Harry Potter to life. I think that she got the characters from people around her. She choose the name Harry because that is her favorite boy's name. Because Hermione is a Shakespearean name, she choose to name her that. She also used Latin and Greek names. Hagrid means that you had a bad night, the name itself is described by Rowling as a dialect word. I think the author is trying to share a magical, powerful, and fun message. Magical
Dexter Morgan, who is portrayed by Michael C. Hall, was only a child when his mother was found murdered by a chainsaw. Harry Morgan, an officer on the case, found his brother and him days later sitting in a pool of her blood. During the day Morgan spends his time as a blood splatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department. As a blood splatter analyst, he spends most of his time working cases for the homicide division, since that is the department that investigates most murders. Ironically, during the day he works in a laboratory; however, during the night he is a serial killer.
Courage. That’s what it takes to save a country. That’s what it takes to discover who you truly are. That’s what Lucy is made up of. In the book, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis, the White Witch tries to take over Narnia, but the Pevensie children come to the rescue.
Keeping It Simple You would be hard pressed to find anyone who does not live under a rock that has not at least heard of Harry Potter, if not read a book or seen a movie. The series has become a cultural phenomenon that has people of all ages as loyal fans worldwide. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the first book in the series by J. K. Rowling that had to have some qualities to capture audiences. Sure, it is a book about magic and adventures, but there are plenty of books about magic in the fantasy genre that never will have the following that Harry Potter does, so what did Rowling do to make this a meaningful story?
Rowling also addresses parent readers with the risks of heavily instilling certain views on their children. She demonstrates this by creating Draco Malfoy, a typical schoolyard bully based on the bullies she had dealt with during her own childhood. His character gives everyone else a hard time with his elitist, racist and spoilt manner, and holds qualities that can be seen in many children, such as pettiness and jealously. As adults we recognise, through Draco’s constant habit of reiterating his father’s words and general opinions of the world, that this rather spiteful boy himself is a product of circumstance, and as a result it had cost him the social ability to make genuine friends and distorted his views of the world before making discoveries
My perspective on the brilliant novel The Book Thief is appreciation. The main character, Liesel Meminger ,has a strong passion for words and reading. Liesel's foster family is poor and her foster father teaches her how to read. For liesel to obtain books she steals from a burning ceremony and the Mayor's library. From reading and finishing this novel made me appreciate words and books a lot more.
The creativity of the author and imagination of the reader made this book humorous, exciting, serious, and exhilarating all at the same time. In fantasy novels, “magic is the matter of myths and folktales, the problem becomes exciting rather than painful or intractable and the imagination is available to come to grips with the problem” (Sheahan-Bright, 2015, p. 4). This allows readers to enjoy the storyline rather than focus on the negativity that could arise. Pathos: Appeal for the Audience

They learn magic as much as experience and knowledge as possible to prepare for the future and defeat the bad witches and bad people. They involve themselves in adventures in the hope that they will obtain the happiness. In addition to Harry Potter, the successful novel and film adaptation and merchandise are ranging from toys to games to clothes, a wealth of popular and academic works discussing the phenomenon that is Harry Potter has been published over recent years- to varying degrees of acclaim. Some critics praise potter author J.K.Rowling for successfully negotiating the fine line between being ‘both utterly original and part of a literary lineage’ (caselli,
literary analysis: Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets I’ve read Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets, a book written by J.K. Rowling. It’s the second book in a series of 7. The book is about Harry Potter, a 12-year-old wizard going to Hogwarts. This year, people are getting stupefied without anyone knowing the reason behind it.
Carl Jung suggests that mythic literatures maintain some of the images that make up the collective unconscious of a group of people. He believed that archetypes are people’s behaviors and personalities and proposed the theory of personal unconscious and collective unconscious. Personal unconscious are memories that are suppressed and it’s from past experience and collective unconscious is the unconscious mind share by all humankind and it’s inherited. The movies “Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire” by JK Rowling displays the characteristics of archetypes such as the classic hero and shadow.
Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, J.K Rowling uses the Good v.s Evil plotline to reveal that we as humans can not judge a person on their outer appearance because there is a lot more on the inside that we don’t know about. This basically means that just because someone doesn’t like you that doesn’t mean that they are a bad person. You can’t judge a person on the way they act toward you because you never know what they have gone through before. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry would look at Snape as a villain because he saw him at a meeting with Voldemort and he seemed to hate Harry.

Helen Beatrix Potter was an English author conservationist, natural scientist, and illustrator best known for the 24 Tales series of animal books that featured the character Peter Rabbit. Beatrix was born in Kensington, London to Helen and Rupert Potter in 1866. Beatrix and her younger brother Walter Bertram loved to paint and draw, and would make many sketches of their pets that included bats, snakes, lizards, frogs, mice, and rabbits. With her parents encouraging her, Beatrix spent hours on her sketches of plants and animals, which was evidence of her early attraction to the natural world that continued into her adult life. Even as she never attended any type of formal schooling, she turned out to be an industrious and intelligent student
by E. Bennet explains that Rowling’s publishers thought the book wouldn’t be taken seriously if readers knew it was written by a woman, so JK Rowling was born. After Rowling’s success with Harry Potter, Bennet mentions that she wanted to explore new genres without it being compared to her earlier work. JK Rowling’s pen names lead her to a successful career as an author.
