High School Research Paper

Illiana Christian High School has been providing students with a Christ-centered education for a long time. In fact, students that currently attend Illiana have grandparents that also attended Illiana. Over time, Illiana Christian High School has changed in many ways. At the same time, Illiana has stayed the same throughout the years. Illiana’s building, classes, and dress code are very different from the early 70’s, but its discipline policies and after school activities are still very similar.

A sensitive society has its difficulties for people to even speak out against the issue of bullying, without being interpreted a different way than its original meaning. Bullying and harassment have been a noticeable problem among students in schools worldwide, and still social acceptance and acknowledgment is a continuous issue. Teens are often picked on because of their sexual orientation/preference, appearances, and many other physical or mental factors. The importance of spring break is to get a break from school ,and to hang out with your friends and family. One of the reasons why I liked this spring break was that I had time to visit my grandparents in Tampico. Another reason I enjoyed this spring break was that I predisposed to hang out with my friends and we were buffoonery. This past spring break, I had time to go visit my family in other places, For example, my family and I went to Tampico to visit my grandparents and,uncles.

The ways that I changed coming into high school are my attitude towards friends and teachers, and also by the way I look. Changing my attitude towards my friends and teachers was very hard for me, because when I was in middle school I was super aggressive to teachers and a little nicer to my friends. Now that I have grown up and now that I am in high school, I have calmed down from the past two or three years. I am in high school now and that means everything is going to change. I’ve improved not talking back to either one of my teachers.

Middle School to High School In middle school, one thing that I thought of high school is that it wouldn’t be much different than middle school. I was told a lot of bad things about high school, people saying “just wait until you get to high school, everything gets a lot worse” or “you think it’s hard now? Just wait.” When I was in middle school, I was told as well as thought that high school wouldn’t be any different than middle school except for it being harder academic wise.

Why do you want to be considered for an Honors class? Next year will be my freshman year at Dimond High School. To me, high school is a one chance kind of opportunity. No room for mistakes and you can’t go back.

Some college students believe that following their career track is the only way to be successful, as opposed to going to a vocational school or pursuing a career in liberal arts. On the other hand, some students feel that pursuing a liberal arts degree can not only make them successful in their career, but educate them on how to communicate effectively as well as how to think critically. I have changed my attitude in high school and I have to make new friends and I want to do better in high school then middle school. I have changed my attitude because the school is bigger and they are a lot of new guys and girls and I have to have a good attitude. And I make new friends and I like one girl in school. The way I’ve changed in high school wasn’t really a major change. I did change my academic and I made new friends. When I was in middle school my grades weren’t really that pretty, but now my grades I’ve been really good and getting better each day. At first I thought my grades were going to be like middle school; in high school it’s a different story the teachers go the extra mile to help their students pass.

My Education First Grade I got hit a lot when I was a first grader. Every time I did something wrong, teachers usually hit me with a ruler usually on my hands/butt; and when I did not write all of the notes, the teachers usually made me stay in the afternoon and forced me to copy all of them. Other than those problems, my first grade experience was unexpectedly normal.

It 's been an interesting experience for me because I 've noticed that us teens struggle in high school with our grades for various reasons. In my transcripts I 've noticed that they aren 't the grades I know I could have gotten. They aren 't really bad but I know if I gave a little more effort into it I would have raised them to A’s or B’s.

At some point in our lives, we have all been lost whether it be in a new place or a new environment. It could also be just within the old premises that changed so much without us noticing it, even if we have resided there for as long as we could remember. This certain place you thought you knew like the back of your hand, but end up realizing that what you knew is not even half of its colossal entirety. And since we are constantly afraid of every dark corner, we often choose to settle and build camp in the parts where it is safe and familiar; but what if you are forcefully thrown out of this comfort? What would you do?

Sounder’s Corner Wow! What a huge difference this year is to last year, and to any other Legacy year. With our new campus last year, and a new principal this year, the Legacy Community has faced their fair share of challenges. Who would have thought that through all these challenges, a school-wide newspaper would have emerged?

That’s when things changed. My grades started to take a raise and I was consistent to this day. This bad habit was eventually lost by the end of grade six, and a good habit was born. To this day, I still have this good habit Alhamdulillah
