How Did The French And Indian War Affect Us Today

Up to this time period of the world, have all these things in the past happened to help our world move forward (evolutionary)? Or have these things worked against us (revolutionary)? Some things from our past have helped us move forward, but some have also held us back.

In the past we have had a lot of wars, but how have they affected us today? The French and Indian war also known as the seven years, war was a war between Britain and France. This war began because France had expanded into the Ohio River Valley and that had caused repeated conflict. Throughout the French and Indian War many people were involved. One of the most important people involved was George Washington. Washington was sent as an ambassador from the British crown to the French officials and Indians as far north as present-day Erie, Pennsylvania. Other people involved were people called the Minutemen, these people were always ready in case a certain emergency was to happen. Eventually the war ended in 1763 with the Treaty of Paris. To me this war was revolutionary because it didn't fix anything. It was just another war that happened.

This quote was said by John Paarker, it meant stand your ground, and don't fire unless fired upon.
