How Does Technology Affect Humanity

As shown in the previous quote, technology can have a huge impact on society and how people live their lives. However, too much technology can be lethal.

But if we humans do not use our technology wisely, it can be deadly. The book Unwind demonstrates this idea well. In the era of Unwind,

Technology takes away the stress of getting to someone’s house to give them the information. In the article, “Meet Your IBrain: How Technology Changing the Way We Think”, state that, “we develop a better ability to sift through large amounts of information rapidly and decide what’s important and what isn’t- our mental filters basically learn how to shift into overdrive” (146). They believe with the help of technology we are able to receive information within a short amount of time. You may not appreciate technology and how it has made getting information out easy unless you has lived your childhood life in a village, where you have to walk for 30 minutes just to pass around information. It was very hard getting information passed around back in the days.

One would suppose that these tools would be used to gain an understanding of cultures, meet individuals everywhere on the planet, have relationships with family and friends, communicate effectively with others, and facilitate individuals to become more social. However, some technological advances can cause individuals to be distracted and stressed. It seems like technology is affecting us in good and bad ways. How is technology changing

If you have a question, you can Google it and get the answer in seconds. When you don't want to walk, you can call a lyft, and if you don't have cash, you can use your phone to pay. All of these are examples of how technology has made things easier for us.

The internet could be the most valuable invention that was made in the modern age. With the force of the web individuals basically can do anything. From learning how to cook to building a car. Starting from the fact that kids are getting less and less physical activity due to technology, technology also ruins social skills in people, and the fact that technology is very dangerous, technology is ruining people.

How we use technology is important in determining what results it would bring us. Nowadays, technology is heavily used for educational purposes.
