The murder of Jonbenet Ramsey is a really depressing and mysterious at that. The murder was extremely brutal, she had wounds on her face, a cracked skull, duct tape on her mouth, she was tied up, and she had a garrote around her neck. According to the documentary we watched she was hit in the head with a flashlight and then strangled with a garrote. It was expected that she snatched a piece of pineapple from her brother’s bowl in which he hit her with a flashlight because of it, and she was still alive so it was most likely the parents got in on it because they didn’t want to be filed for abuse and jailed so they strangled her to death and put a blanket over her body, breaking a window and adding a ransom note to make it seem like someone broke in. …show more content…
The murder wasn’t well thought out so in order to eliminate any evidence they wiped off the fingerprints, broke a window, and added notes. A man was accused for raping her because his DNA was on her underwear which in my opinion wasn’t sufficient. If her murderer is her family it was most likely not an “opportunity”, he hit her with a golf club before, yes, but I’m sure he wouldn’t kill his sister on purpose, but just snapped and hit her. As to “why” the murder was carried out, it goes unknown, I still think her brother got really mad when she snatched a piece of pineapple off his bowl of pineapple and milk, picked up a flashlight and hit her in the head with it. The parents probably didn’t want to be blamed for abuse, jailed, and shamed, it’s even worse if you’re a well known beauty pageant queen, so they got in on the murder, cleaning it up, and calling the police acting like it wasn’t them that did it. There were voices in the background. Forensics were contaminated because her body was moved so many
JonBenét Ramsey was a six year old girl from Boulder, Colorado. She lived in her home with her mother Patsy, father John, and brother Burke. JonBenét was known for her beautiful smile and success in beauty pageants, after following in her mother's footsteps in pageantry. This little girl’s sparkly, fun life took a turn on December 26th, 1996 when she was murdered in her home. Patsy Ramsey awoke around 5:30 am to begin her morning with coffee.
The police investigating the crime said that the way the body was placed seemed like a cover-up for the crime, but could have also been moved by the father who found and picked her up, and that the ransom note was staged by Patsy Ramsey. In 2002 the DA reinvestigated the case, this time they looked at people that were not related to JonBenet as suspects. In 2008 the DA sent out an apology letter to the ramseys declaring that the family was completely cleared from the crime, and in February 2009 the Boulder Police reopened the investigation. There are two main theories about who killed JonBenet Ramsey one of the two is the Intruder Theory, Smits Theory was a theory that someone had broken into the ramseys

This means JonBenet was killed by being strangled with having a blow to the head. There was evidence of vaginal trauma as well. According to the corners report there were many different lacerations and including the dilation of her anal cavity; it was concluded they had been done much later after her death occurred. Now concerning the hundreds of people that came forward to admit they had been the ones to commit the crime of killing “the black dahlia”, there were a few that had stood out as possible suspects. The Murder of the Hollywood Starlet A young hollywood starlet was brutally murdered in 1947 with no killer identified to this day. This is real case that still puzzles investigators today. The woman in question was named Elizabeth Short, but is more widely known as the “Black Dahlia.” She was given this nickname by the press because of the sheer, black clothing she tended to wear (“The Black Dahlia Murder - Read All about it in FBI Records.”).
JonBenet Ramsey who was a young loving beauty queen of Colorado, who’s live was taken way too early. JonBenet was murdered in her home in Boulder Colorado on December 26, 1996 at the age of six. After completing my research, I was able to make a prediction of who I believed murdered the incent child, and it did not take much research to see the mistakes made by the Boulder Police Department. The Boulder Police Department made numerous mistakes in the JonBenet Ramsey case.
The articles I have decided to use is about the murder of Susan Kay Nason called ‘Her Memory, Her Dad On Trial In `69 Killing’(Chorness) from the Chicago tribune. As well as Another point of view of the L.A Times "Man Convicted After Daughter Recalls Murder."(Morain). State vs. Mayfield Trial On December 27th, 1989, State Police Officer Edward Mayfield pulled over Donna Nugent to a shady area where he strangled her and threw her body off of a bridge. We don’t know why he pulled her over. He then proceeded to strangle her with a rope. I believe State Police Officer Edward Mayfield is guilty of murder in the first degree because he had and hid the murder weapon, pulling over specifically blonde women, and he changed the activity log.
