10 Investigative Skills (7PA0006337) - Officer Stark responded to a PC211-Robbery radio call at 1038 E. Colorado Blvd. The comments of the call stated 2 Female Asians and 2 Male Asians pushed the Victim out of his wheelchair and took his wallet containing $25. Stark responded to the location, even though it was out of his beat, and asked me if he could handle the call. I advised the beat Officer that we would handle the incident for training. As we entered the Rite Aid, the Victim was sitting in his wheelchair directly in front of the exit.

On 03-07-16 at about 1839 hours, Officer Saunders #7720 and I responded to 610 N. Oakland Avenue #5 for a battery with great bodily injury investigation. Upon our arrival we met with Victim Raun Gibson who stated his daughter, Suspect Lanaye Gibson hit him several times across his face and bite him on his right forearm. Victim Gibson sustained two bite marks across his right forearm as a result of Suspect Gibson bitting him. I saw that Victim Gibson sustained two bite marks across his upper right forearm. Officer Saunders and I arrested Suspect Gibson for PC 243(d)-Battery with great bodily injury.

On 12/09/2015, at approximately 1518 hours, this Officer received a call via radio and directed to Main and Lloyd Street for a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle. This officer and Officer Brown responded to the scene. When Officers arrived on scene I observed a 93 year old female lying in the middle of Main Street (State Route 924). The female was later identified as Agnes E. Ferguson (DOB: 7/24/22) who resides at 37 West Coal Street Shenandoah, PA 17976. A silver Subaru was stationary in the northbound lane of Main Street (SR 924) near Agnes.

Supplemental Narrative: On 09/24/15 at approximately 1350 hours, I, Officer Artaz along with Officer Reece responded to 311 Dodge Street apartment 7 to assist Deputy Sparks and Deputy Buffington with executing a felony warrant. The wanted person was identified as Gerald McNeil (DOB 03/26/82). Upon arrival, Officer Reece and I escorted Deputy Sparks to Gerald's apartment. Deputy Sparks knocked on the door and a short time later Gerald answered the door. Deputy Sparks asked Gerald to step out into the hallway, so they could talk.

A man in Weymouth, Massachusetts is facing charges after he was caught using counterfeit money at a McDonald's on Main Street. The manager called the police after realizing that the money the man used was counterfeit. After the officers arrived on the scene, they confirmed that the money was fake. While on patrol I observed a white Nissan Altima with an expired tag traveling north on Brundidge Street. I performed a traffic stop on the violator vehicle. I exit my patrol vehicle and approached the driver of the vehicle. I identified the driver as Kayla Marie Motes. I then asked the passenger if he would voluntarily give me his name.

She reported the jacket belonged to her. She further stated the jacket was valued over $250.00, and she didn’t give the defendant permission to take her personal item. Defendant’s Statement: Aronte’ reported he was walking to his home and a friend inside of a vehicle called out his name. He further alleged his friend asked him if he wanted a ride to his home. He also said upon entering the car, he observed another male in the car whom he did not know.

They observed a vehicle being driven by a female subject, later identified as Ashlee White. The passenger match the physical description of the defendant, one of the detectives noticed a distinctive necklace the passenger was wearing it matched the one worn by the defendant. The detectives requested for a marked unit to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. When the officers approached the vehicle, they recognized the defendant.

A warrant was issued for a search of the home of Richard Simpson. Officers set up a surveillance of the home on March 27, 1995, Mrs. Simpson left the home at 10:15AM to take her son to school. Upon returning home Mrs. Simpson was detained by Office Conzachi. Once Mrs. Simpson was at the surveillance site a sheriff’s deputy made a call to Richard Simpson informing him that his wife had been in an accident and he needed to respond to the scene to make arrangements for the vehicle. Leaving the residence Mr. Simpson was stopped and detained by officer Conzachi.
