The sorting would scream “HUFFLEPUFF” I knew it was the right match for me. I envision there is a reason for everything and I can’t wait to see what it is! Maybe Hufflepuff will win the house cup. Or maybe even I will be on a quidditch team someday. I will just have to watch and see. I am hard-working which forms a perfect fit for me. I like school and that makes me pay attention more in class. Especially when it is interesting! I receive mostly A’s in all of my classes. Hard-working doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to receive all A’s, but you can also get B’s. Which are still really good. I never give up, but I keep going forward! I am a happy and content person for Hufflepuff. I am easy-going in almost everything I do. I love to laugh
Mercy is showing respect, compassion, love and kindness towards others, no matter how they act towards us. A German pilot showed mercy and spared an American B-17 pilot and his crew. In 1943, five days before Christmas, a German fighter was flying over the wing of a badly damaged B-17 bomber full of injured people. The B-17 pilot was twenty-one year old Charlie Brown. His bomber had been shot by German fighters, and was struggling to stay in the sky above Germany.
I am good at problem-solving, staying positive during stressful situations, leading people through difficult times, and being straightforward when I handle unfortunate problems. This reason is one of my best qualities I am open-minded. I am willing to consider new ideas and opinions without being biased. I will acknowledge all these thoughts and go through them while being unprejudiced.
I feed off of others people’s energy very well. I’m shy at first, but once you get to know me I become very talkative.
I am friendly and approachable and I try to help others to the best of my abilities. I am also motivated and curious. Sometimes, however, I am not very patient. I can also be very awkward and silly, which are reasons why my close friends describe me as a klutz. Besides my personality, my hobbies and actions are also a part of me.
I can be goofy at times and I try to make people laugh as much as I can. I would describe myself as determined and focused on school. I try to get involved with as much activities as I can. I am funny at times, but can be serious when I need to be.
To be among the esteemed students who are being considered for the National Honor Society is a privilege in itself. To be a member of this society, one that prides itself in strong leadership, excellent character, and a dedication to service is increasingly desirable. This organization is known for recognizing students with exceptional grades and characters, and I hope to further the impression it has made, as I have worked diligently to stand out among my peers. I dedicate myself to my schoolwork, and I feel that my results are a reflection of that. Last trimester, I received a grade point average of 3.9.
I sincerely would love to be a part of the computer science program here at Texas A&M University and feel qualified with my background in computers and various programming languages. I have been working to be the best student I can for this program by participating in coding activities and competitions like Hack TAMU, Hack Texas, Code Red, and some others. Along with that, I have been attending informative seminars like the Google Tech Talks and Resume Workshops hosted here at A&M to learn and help pursue my career related goals in the future. Also, I have become more involved with the Aggie Computing Society to network and attended informative meetings. I feel that I have proven my knowledge, ability to code, and ability to problem solve
I like to always show that spark of humor that was born inside of me to not only give me the out look of an unsophisticated lady with no laughter but to show that I can put a smile on many faces. A character trait I love to have that not everyone has is kindness. I believe that everyone should have a neutral affection towards each other, and I want to adore that information for others to see. When I made the school soccer team in sixth grade ( one out of four), I cried not tears of joy, but tears of kindnesss that my other friends didn’t make the team. THe kindness sprouted inside of
The definition of persevere is to persist steadfastly in pursuit of an undertaking, task, journey, or goal, even if hindered by distraction, difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement. Throughout my years at Galesburg High School, I have taken many classes some including honors and I have pursued them with an A in mind. Even when things got tough in the class or at home, I stayed on track and got my work done. I kept the goal of an A in mind and it helped me to keep my 3.7 GPA that I now have. Also, I have had
The Pursuit of Grades Over Happiness There are many accomplishments that we have achieved, yet many to achieve, and the race towards them never seems to stop. Well, this is the case for many students because the race towards achieving high grades never comes to an end. Grades are meaningless in the grand scheme of things, as they do not control the rest of your life, but yet are still overly looked upon and can affect a student’s life drastically. However, a poet once said, “Life is not a race, but a journey, to be savored each step of the way” (Nancye Sims).
I feel that one’s grades show a lot about their character, dedication and determination along with several other

People usually notice that I 'm cheerful, kind, thoughtful, and very trustworthy. Traits that aren 't so obvious are that I overthink everything, worrisome, and that I tend to
