My Responsibility to America
America, when you hear the name what do you think? Some may think of America as the land of opportunities others the place that is destined to fall and many more other opinions. To me I think, I know that America is the place with so much to offer, the best of the best. I mean come on why else would so much people want to move to America? I believe that as a citizen of America my responsibility is to enlighten the youth about how important education is, stick up for what is right, and having faith/bringing unity.
As the people of American some of us have become lazy with the things we do, we have lost the true meaning of motivation and ambition. Whether we like it or not we are the people and the current generation

At times I wouldn't blame them if they were to think this in any way but I am going to have to say that have a little faith in us. What we do cane either make or break America. My responsibility is to be able to demonstrate to others that it is not a bad thing to have ambition and strive for the best in whatever it is we want to pursue. Everything we want to do or be starts with education. Even though Education can be very tedious and at moments seem extremely difficult we just need to get through it, after all education is not something meant to be easy because then it is not education and we are not learning anything, the goal is to learn, comprehend as much information and apply that to the world we live in. I believe that Education is what makes the world go round; it is the heart and soul of everything we do. Education holds so much power and once you have it you are unstoppable. It may seem like too much I know for a fact I found myself not wanting to have anything to do with it at all but I know how important it is and the doors it can open for so many of us. J.P Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, Cornelius Vanderbilt, and John D. Rockefeller made our country by being smart, a risk-taker, and competitive. Without them who knows where we would be today.
The United States of America, one of the greatest countries on earth today. A place that 318.9 million people call their home. A country whose identity has been formed by a series of wars, people, political events, and more day in and day out. Going back to the earliest stage of America that we know, The French and Indian war was the first major war that started to create and form the America we know today. For over a century the French and British lived peacefully amongst one another in the new world.
America, the land of freedom, opportunity, and heroism. This is America, an unlikely country born of bravery and courage. It’s beginnings were humble and small, but like all valuable things that were meant to be, it grew, beginning with a few struggling colonies in the New World under the rule of Great Britain, to a thriving nation. After years of sickness, hunger, and overall hardship, the colonists stayed strong, and pressed forward.
Since the beginning of time in the United States, the idea of the American Dream has had a heavy influence on society. According to Document C, American Dream is defined as earning enough money to be happy, obtaining a worry-free lifestyle, and running in a high social circle. While working Americans still hold on to the hope of the American Dream, individuals from other countries often move to the United States with the hope that they too may have a piece of the pie. Despite the novelty and allure of the American Dream, it is nothing more than false hope.
America is another name for opportunity. America is a place for people to come live the life they want to live and be successful. Most people look at America as a place of freedom and a place where you dreams come true. An American is someone who serves our country, someone who gets to choose their own job, and someone who immigrates for more opportunities. First of all, an American is someone who serves our country.

To more appreciate the freedom that you have in this amazing country, just think of all the men and women who have willingly gone into combat to fight for you and your country. People that I do not even know are out on the front lines fighting for my freedom. With all freedom comes accountability.
My Responsibility to America by Brett Rosendahl I feel like I have many responsibilities to others and America. Looking out for friends and family is one of them. Being a good role model is another. Being a good person in general to other people is my third responsibility. I think that you really never stop having responsibilities, you just get more as you grow older.

My Responsibility to America Backdrop: On Veterans Day in my school, I was asked to write an essay on “My Responsibility to America”, and it wasn’t until I stared at a blank sheet of paper that I realized that I had a responsibility towards my new home. “Death. The only thing inevitable in life”, Colleen Hoover, an American author, simply summarized our greatest fear in words that once read, cannot be forgotten. It’s the journey that counts, it’s how you live that counts and till your last breath bringing pride to the country you were born in and eventually to the rest of the world. What scares me the most is not that we are mortals, but the deeds that we do aren’t.
My Responsibility to America In America, we are given freedoms and our basic human rights. To make sure these freedoms such as free speech are kept, we as Americans have responsibilities to America. Whether it be in our everyday lives serving in our community or special occasions when serving on a jury, Americans are held to these responsibilities to keep the United States to the standard that it always is. Our basic responsibilities are to pay taxes and vote in elections, however, they extend far greater than those.
In conclusion, inevitable factors indicate that the road to achieve the American Dream is difficult. Therefore, all Americans need to have confidence to achieve personal goals and believe that tomorrow would be better that today. It is always wonderful to share thoughts with people of your expertise, especially on a subject that affects my everyday life. Education is paramount to achieving success, and living in the modern world. In my school we take several standardized tests that are supposed to measure how much knowledge I’ve retained throughout the year. These exams have changed the way that children are taught, and have made public schools int a limited learning environment.
This quote directly represents how I feel educating is important to one's self-improvement and the improvement of the work around them. It is crucial for a person to always keep learning, its what develops the brain, helps to form our character and it is a privilege that not all people are able to get. it is when we stop learning and educating ourselves out body becomes a useless vessel. But education can't help build a better future without action, one of my personal goals is to help people, inspire them and make their lives better. I was lucky enough to have a chance of getting an education, having food on my plate and a roof over my head in order for me to become who I am today.
Being educated gives you more chances of high paying jobs and the more educated you are, the better career options you have. I want to be able to turn my dream into my reality with the education that i’ll be accomplishing in the future. I know that if I want to become extremely successful, the key to all that is education.
Malcolm X once said “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepared for it today.” In the western world education plays a vital role in shaping our future; it determines if we will survive or fail in the world we created for ourselves. Our world is constantly changing and it requires a society that is well versed in understanding the problems deriving from cultural differences and tolerance of one another’s beliefs and perceptions. With the power of education we are able to deal with the problems of economic, government, religion and culture differences.
