John Calvin Coolidge Research Paper

Dwight David Eisenhower, also known as Ike, was the 34th president. He launched the space race known as the Cold War, between the Soviet Union and the US. He is also the first president who asked congress to establish NASA(National Aeronautics and Space Administration). Dwight D. Eisenhower led the Nazi invasion, also known as “D-day”. D-day was a day where the Nazi army took over France.

Many people know Theodore Roosevelt as the 26th president of the United States,but many people don’t know he was also a rancher. He loved to go hunting for Bison in the Badlands. He loved it so much he invested $14,000 in cattle and started a ranch south of neighboring towns of Little Missouri and Medora. Teddy wasn’t the typical cowboy he was 5-foot-8 and 135 pounds, he was anything but robust because of him shaving his beard and brushing his teeth. The other cowboys thought he was to clean and dressed too nice to be a cowboy.

Theodore Roosevelt is the right man to become once more President of the United States of American. Roosevelt is, from the looks of it, a charming and very active person, who has faced problems with this country head on and fixed them. He has already been president before now, and he already knows what this country will need in the future when he becomes president once again. The Square deal, he passed, had already helped workers with problematic owners, from making sure the business was a safe place to work, kept riots from starting up, made it that they just needed to work eight hours, and kept business owners from gaining more power by breaking them into smaller businesses. It also made new laws for the treatment of meat and medication,

The stories that survive from Coolidge his upbringing paint a picture of a spry and clever lad with the core profound seriousness.(2) He is the only president to be born on the Fourth of July. This is no coincidence, for in the sense he embodied true dedication to the principles that established America.

He was into business as a young boy, at about the age of 12. John D. Rockefeller 's mother told him he should start saving up his money. John Listened to his mother and then his mother gave him another great idea. she told him to loan his money to a neighboring farmer and give 7% interest, and thus the long life of business began for John D. rockefeller. John was born July 8th, 1839 in Richford, NY.

The principles that Coolidge lived by, he honored till death. After his two terms of presidency he continued his contributions to society by writing a column in the McClure Newspaper for a year. Though he may have lived a relaxed life post-presidency, even teasing reporters with ideas as to why he did not run for a third term, his timing as president during post-war America was imperative for restoration of the country’s economy. Lyndon Baines Johnson was born in Stonewall, Texas on August 27, 1908. His family had settled in Texas before the Civil War. Lyndon B. Johnson was the oldest of his siblings. The nearby town of Johnson City was named after the Johnson’s family, because they were very successful in farming and ranching. Lyndon’s father was a rancher and part-time politician.

Calvin Coolidge was a President who exemplified many important values; he is well-known for his honesty, integrity, rationality, self-discipline, and hard work. Throughout his life, he always remained true to himself and to these values, even when times were tough and it would have been easier to abandon them. This often times seems to be a rare occurrence amongst politicians, especially those who are prevalent in government today, but that is just a testament to the type of man, and President, that Coolidge was. While all of the values that were held by President Coolidge are incredibly important values for one to posses, I personally find that hard work is the most important of all of them. I believe this because nothing in this world is free; everything comes at a price and often times that price is the tireless dedication and hard work of those fighting to succeed.

Franklin Roosevelt had a hard time while being a president but all the studying he did at school and the people that surrounded him helped him get through it a lot easier. FDR, shortened for Franklin Delano Roosevelt, was born January 30th, 1882 in New York ("Franklin D. Roosevelt.”). He was a very smart boy from the very start because of his good teaching parents. His parents loved him very much and took good care of him. Roosevelt got tutored privately and elite schools until age of fourteen.

In late fall 2011 I had begun to settle down. I was very familiar with my new school; I had built up a great reason repeoine with my teachers, I did not quite connect with my old friends, but I had met new ones. Everything was going well except my family life. I went to school one day at 7:15a.m. arrived at home at 3:00p.m.

And I ended up going to traditional school because I didn’t want to leave because I enjoyed going to traditional school. But a few weeks after school started I was called to guidance to talk with my guidance counselor. And when I got there she didn’t sugar code nothing she came straight out and said I wasn’t going to graduate because I didn’t have enough credits, couldn’t pass the EOC or FCAT and I had really poor GPA. So with that being said I made the decision to go to an alternative school named Fresh Start.

After resettling in the capital, I continued attending a private school for the next few years. However, I was not getting the same quality of education or attention that I was accustomed to. I became negligent with school and also started to associate with the wrong type of kids, where I started to like the attention I was getting from fellow students. It was the beginning of a downfall. I started getting bad grades and my parents were too busy to notice because they were struggling to adjust to our new life.

I had a hard time going back to Blackfoot High because of how terrible my life had become while I was there and how much better my life had become in that one day at Bingham Academy. I could’ve decided to go to Firth or Shelly, but my parents and I wanted me to stay in Blackfoot. Due to this desire, I went to Bingham Academy instead. All I knew is that I did not want to stay at Blackfoot High. I did well academically while I studied there, but social pressures are a big deal, especially at my age.

After that horrible year was over, I went to the next grade,

My mother was moving and dropped us off at my fathers and left. I settled for the neighborhood school again. George Henry Corliss STEM High School. Going to that school were the worst days of my life. So much that I didn’t like going to school.
