Senior citizens. People of my generation tend to think of them to be uneventful and tedious individuals who aren’t the slightest bit interesting. However, I recently interviewed this woman named Kay Alloway who astonished me with how compelling her life was. Kay was born on June 14th, 1923 in Lawrenceville, Virginia. She became responsible very early as a child, since she was the oldest of 6 children. Mrs.Alloway had many chores she had to complete such as cooking and cleaning. While performing these chores, Kay quickly realized that she had a passion for the art of culinary. At the early age of 7, she was already helping her family prepare big planned meals. In fact, she stated that her favorite cuisines to prepare with her family was stuffed

Kyam Livingston was a 37 year old mother of two, from Brooklyn, New York who died under police custody in July of this year. During an escalated argument with her elderly grandmother, over alcoholic consumption police were called to the scene. Prior to this altercation, Livingston had made an agreement with her grandmother, a legalized order of protection that was established prohibiting alcohol or fighting in the household. When police arrived she was immediate arrested and taken to King County hospital where she was given treatment for her intoxication. About 8 hours later she was taken to a holding cell in in Brooklyn to wait arraignment.

Sunday, November 1 is the official due date for Jessa Seewald and also the first wedding anniversary of Jessa and Ben. Time has surely flown by since these two love birds walked down the aisle in wedded bliss. Kametrea Williams was born February 1st , 1999 in Longview,Texas. Kametrea lived in various parts of East Texas until the death of her father in 2012. After her father's death Kametrea and her younger sister (Keeunsha) moved to Dallas, Texas to live with their Uncle (Undray Moore) and Aunt (Yolanda Moore). While living in Dallas Kametrea's Uncle and Aunt encouraged her to go to church and stay connected with the Lord on a personal level. Kametrea's eight grade year at Pearl C.Anderson she joined an organization called Turner 12 who's mission is to help students from various Dallas schools become first generation college graduates.
Who would have thought that someone could go from being injured while in an active combat, to being a professional paratriathlete? Well, Melissa Stockwell did just that. In her younger ages, she loved her country to the extent of wanting to be in the army when she grew up. While knowing that she wanted to do that, she also kept in mind that she needed to be more athletic. Therefore, she began gymnastics at a younger age and also undertook many school activities.
I decided to do my writing on James Earl Chaney. James Earl Chaney was born in Meridian, Mississippi in 1943. He also went to a catholic school for his first nine grades. He wore NAACP badges to school to mark support of the civil rights movement and was suspended by the principal that feared what an all-white school board would think about it. He joined the fight for freedom as a teenager by participating in bus protests in 1962.
Duke Kahanamoku was an Olympic surfer from Hawaii, he was born August 24, 1890 in the Kalia District of Honolulu. Kahanamoku introduced surfing to the world after it almost died out with other local Hawaiian traditions in the nineteenth century. European people came to Hawaii around 1778 and adored the traditions of the native people and quickly joined in riding the waves on flat boards. Christian missionaries later had the local Hawaiians believe that surfing was uncivilized and tried to ban the sport. Disease it the island with great power, taking the population rom 300,000 to 40,000 in 1893.

He has a educational background, although sub staining injury conflicts and football made him famous. Mike Keats was a really nice, brave and intelligent person. Although Mike Keats was a great man and a great hockey player he reacted so much on his temper, so he always used to go to the penalty box as a punishment while playing hockey. Mike was traded so many times to different teams and got drafted on their teams but Mike had a Native American teammate, which than became his friend Dakota. Dakota had a good talent at that time to help Mike when he needed it. Unfortunately there was once something really mysterious that Mike wouldn’t tell anyone.
Kenny Dobbs may be in his 20’s, but you wouldn’t know it from his accomplishments. He is recognized internationally as the best basketball slam dunk artist in the world. Kenny has toured with the NBA and sprite as a celebrity dunker, performing in front of sold out stadiums during halftime shows, celebrity games and NBA all star weekends. His talent is recognized globally. In 2012, through the release of the NBA 2K13 video game, Kenny’s amazing dunk moves were used to create the high flying dunks done by the NBA players.

Amy Tan is a Chinese-American author who was born on February 19, 1952, in Oakland, California. In Tan’s early life she had many struggles because her parents desired for her “to hold onto Chinese traditions and her own longings to become more Americanized” (Encyclopedia). While she wanted to become a writer when she was still young, her parents wanted her to become a neurosurgeon. When she got older and went to college she majored in English then started her career in the 1970’s. She was a technical writer and then started writing fiction stories.
