Literary Analysis Collection 1 In the 3 stories, “Liberty”, “The Sniper”, and “The Most Dangerous Game” there is conflict over the three stories. It all has a setting, conflict, and charters. Each charter has a conflict in each setting. But they have their similarities and differences. In the story “Liberty” the girl could not give her name or her location. That’s because if she did that she and her family could be found and get killed. The setting is at a country and her house (unknown location). The charters are the girl Mami and Papi and the dog Liberty. Mami and Papi are waiting for their visas so they can go to the united states of America. What made the story interesting is that the girl could not say anything about their location.

It's amazing how two people that have much in common can have totally different personalities. In Richard Connell's "The Most Dangerous Game", Rainsford, a skillful hunter, is to go through many struggles against General Zaroff, his opponent with which he shares many similarities, in order for him to win a hunting contest while proving himself to be the owner of an amazing, unbreakable personality. Through his actions during a game of hunt against a much overconfident hunter, Rainsford proves to have the traits of an honorable man. At the beginning of the story, Rainsford bravely arrives, after falling from a yacht, to the shore of an isolated island. The latter is called ‘Ship Trap’ since it is known to have a bad reputation.

Civil wars pits us against each other, and tears apart family and friends. “ The Sniper” and “ Cranes” both depict the theme that war tears apart humanity and makes the innocent hard to point out.
