With bravery Malala was able to survive the impossible a gunshot to the head. “It was an ordinary day. I was 15 in 9th grade” said Malala (Potenza 8) in Pakistan where malala lives girls going to school was looked down upon in the community, she expressed her braveness by waking up every morning to go to school, something many people won’t do. After getting off the bus, malala was gunned down and shot in the head by two men, for pursuing her right to a good education. She was transported to a London hospital and lived another day.

Malala Malala Yousafzai a young teenager was on the brink of death thanks to her advocating. Women's rights are something not given to all girls in her country, Pakistan. For that sole reason she was shot, for speaking up for her rights. Therefore, by using juxtaposition to compare the Pakistan people to the American lifestyle, imagery to intensify the endeavor of women and young girls, and pathos to invigorate the world to help attain educational rights for these girls .

Malala was a fifteen-year-old girl from Pakistan that believes in standing up for women’s rights. Malala was shot for standing up against the Taliban for suggesting that girls should be able to participate in school. Malala was then placed in an intensive care unit (ICU) and she remained there till she woke up from the coma. As Malala describes her life before being victimized it is noticeably obvious that she is confident in publically standing up against the Taliban for female education. Malala showed she was determined to make a difference for woman, which perceived Malala as a “threat” to the Taliban.

Our thoughts and actions are the consequences of our future. We can easily choose one thing or another, based on what we believe, including our morals, ethics, and standards. Malala is persecuted on her rights as a woman and has an aspiration to be an advocate for women's education. She wants to be an advocate, but the conflict between the women in Pakistan and the society seeks to lessen their rights. The Taliban had want to tear down her father’s school.

On the topic she claimed, “If one man can destroy everything, why can't one girl change it? (Yousafzai 141-142). This brings up the valid point that just because a young girl may not seem like the predictable one to save her country and beliefs, doesn’t mean she can’t. Malala has started her own charity that has helped communities across the world get the education they need and other necessities for living healthy lives. Malala’s perseverance has given her cause global attention and the traction to make a real impact on a worldwide

Malala’s courage after getting shot in the head by the Taliban and the ability to remain faithful provided the courage for all young girls her age wanting more and not being afraid to fight for what is right. The strong faith her family displayed and undeniable courage under fire proved to the Taliban even in the face of death, she still believed that girls should be educated with boys and no one should question their motives for wanting to improve their lives. Throughout the book Malala’s father demonstrated the power of good influence, the Taliban demonstrated the power of negative influence and Malala demonstrated the importance of absorbing what it takes to get people to see how to endure when faced with an uncontrollable dilemma.

Malala has made a big impact on many people based on her perspective about education, she is in fact an outrageous role model. Yousafzai’s outgoing thoughts and knowledge have caused a significant influence which is more than sufficient to understand the true concept of attending school to receive an education and having equality. Though, there are several people who strongly disagree with her argument, there are others who support every single step she takes. Malala enforces the seriousness of the outcome people who obtain an education receive, especially women like her. Malala is a woman who fights for her rights as well as for the rights of others, as she contends, “I am here to stand for their rights”(Yousafzai, 2014), the phrase gives her audience a sense of power by asserting she will always fight for what is right.

Malala still continued to fight for women's education through t.v. interviews and for her efforts, she won the Pakistan National Peace Prize. She even got a prize named after her. Due to the press and media all over the world gaining attention on Malala’s effort, the Taliban said that

Do you know who Malala Yousafzai is? She's a girl who demanded girls to have an education and was shot in the head by the Taliban at the age of 15 because of her innocent actions. Malala was immensely brave and even after she was shot she kept going, she even won a Nobel Peace Prize! At a very young age, Malala started going out and fighting for women's rights, with speeches and long talks. She wrote a book acknowledging all the shocking and drastic events which led up to her being a true inspiration to children worldwide.

Throughout her book Malala reveals to her audience how passionate she is about advocating for women’s education. In her book she states, “Here was a call for my death… and I was as calm as could be. ”(Yousafzai, pg.118). This quote reveals that Malala was unperturbed by a death threat made against her by the Taliban. Malala being unflustered by a death threat not only reveals her bravery for someone at such a young age, but also her passion for advocating for women’s education.

This shows her quality of selflessness and acceptance of others. A distinction between Malala being shot before and after, the Taliban ordered for all girls’ school to be closed, but school was one of the most important parts of Malala’s life and a luxury she never took for granted, which means that she will try to get back education for all girls.
