Most characters are quickly introduced they are so many that when you finish the book you won’t be able to remember any of them. The author gives very little background as to why Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, for a person to be able to understand everything going on in this book they must have at least a good vision of the historical event before being introduced to all the people who were there that day.
