The nature vs. nature debate is the scientific, cultural, and philosophical debate about whether human culture, behavior, and personality are caused primarily by nature or nurture. Nature is often defined in this debate as genetic or hormone-based behaviors. Our genes determine the different traits that we have, such as eye color, hair, ear size, height and other traits. While nurture is most commonly defined as environment and experiences that we have. Although, nature and nurture plays a big role in child development, nurture seems to be a little bit more of an influence on child development than nature. There are facts to prove that both nature and nurture take a huge role in how children develop and why they become what they are as adults. Based on the research it is known that there is no clear answer as to what is more influential than the other when it comes to nature versus nurture.
