I went to Jay Peak as my second time. I remember about my first time I went there when I was in Middle school. Also it was my first year in United State. I was a quiet student in Middle school so I don’t talk the whole time I was on the bus even when I get there. But yesterday I talked to people who were from different program. When we arrived at Jay Peak we have to get card and some other things. Then we went inside I can smell the water from Jay Peak. I saw a lot of people and life guard at the Jay Peak. We all went stright to change then we all disappear from there. Everyone picked what they want to do. Me and Roze tired the Blue and Green slides. After we went to rock climbing wall after I get off from that then I went hot tub and I set …show more content…
Taylor told me to call Roze because she left her bag in the changing room. So I call Roze and she gets Taylor bag for her. When we were getting down from the top we saw a big moose. The guy who work there said he has never seen any animals here and it is his first time to seen the moose and we all were smiling. After we get off from gondola and walk back to the bus because it was close to 4. There wasn’t a lot of people when we get on the bus but people starts coming on the bus so the smallest people have to go to the van. Who do you think people call first me and Roze of course!. I was so pissed. I have to sit next to Dmitry and his short was all wet. I have to sit the edge of the seat. One of the girl complain because we both have the same struggle so we have move to different van and it wasn’t that helpful either but we can able to move around so it was fine. I slept the there until we get to the Wheelock. We get back dinner time so we ate dinner. It was a nice day and I have some unforgettable moment and some pictures that will remind me of the time. I am so lucky to go Jay Peak again with my Lyndon Launch group. This help me to get to know about each of
Right now I am on a plane headed to Europe. With me are Jack Hileman,John Shleinz,Grant Williams,Nathan Jolly, and David Beilin. We are almost over the Amazon, when the plane begins to shake then fall. Grant screamed, “What are we going to do?” Nathan shouted in response, “I don’t know you tell me wise guy.”
After a while the conductor turned on his microphone and said that we were skipping the rest of the stops because the train was full. I was delighted because it was getting really noisy in the cart. Then we get to Chicago. We are all both shocked and thrilled by the amount of people walking down the streets.
Having a boyfriend that rejects you sucks. When it all became too much for Skylar Evans, she moves to Los Angeles to live with her aunt. She had an almost perfect life; a sweet, caring boyfriend, good grades, and rarely any arguments with her aunt. That is, until after her high school graduation. She returns to Cincinnati, Ohio for college, where she crosses paths with her opressor, Chris.
Meet my Jazz band. This is a picture of us in New Orleans my junior year during spring break to play Jazz. I decided upon this picture because this band has had such a profound impact on how I frame my future. My connection with music through the piano has been fostered ever since I could reach those shiny black and white collection of keys. Starting at the age of four, playing the classical music of Mozart and Bach was what my musical background was founded upon, with tangible medals and accomplishments as achievements.
When I started high school, the club that excited me the most, was National Honors Society. So, at the first chance I got, in my sophomore year. After being a member for a year, I quickly realized that I wanted to take on a leadership opportunity in the club. So, I took a shot for the stars, and campaigned for being president of Honors Society. Though I had some competition, I put my all into composing a speech, and I won the presidency, and I have been president since.
The Yellowstone Park Expedition It’s the day 68 and we are still here in Yellowstone Park. I woke up in the middle of the night in my tent. Something told me, “You are not safe here.” I wondered amongst the tents to see if someone has woken up too.
There was a slight cool breeze at the top of Mt. Cardigan during mid Fall, the landscape was a beautiful painting made by the earth and sky. I could see blue ponds reflecting the clear sky like a giant mirror, some trees had begun to turn orange, yellow, or red, while other trees still held on to their green. It was a very popular day to hike and we had a spectacle of thirty plus people watching to see what our daring plan was. Three of my friends and I were out of place on this mountain because we did not come up with a dog or even hiking boots on.
I got all Jeff Bridges this week and got my True Grit on. Let me explain: I have a passion project I’ve been working on forever, and it hit a major roadblock. I really wanted to give up, especially after my director decided to up and leave. But instead of getting all Angel and brooding in the darkness, I pushed on and currently have a meeting with two other directors for next week. Let me tell you, there was a point in time I would have been crushed by this and would have further stalled the project if not given up completely.
The time I spent with my cousins and brother would be a trip that I won’t forget my whole life. A family vacation that I was very excited for was my trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming. This was one of the most anticipated vacations I had, we were going to stay for a week from Christmas to New Year’s eve. My family and I really enjoy skiing and when the chance to go on this trip happened, I remember begging my dad for us to go with my cousins. It was going to be the greatest trip that I would ever experience in my life.
This for Jim literally talks about the ice wall he is about to scale and how unstable it is. Any decision he makes even ones that looks good on the surface could result in him falling. This blurb means a lot to me personally. While i may not be scaling a wall but i have had similar experience both physcially and mentally.
Brandon Carter is a big inspiration to many. This man is an inspiration to countless of individuals around the world, such as myself. From discovering his videos, he gave me motivation to start exercising, be healthy, and more discipline. On my path to be stronger person, I started to follow an exercising program which I did three to six times a week depending on how my body felt. I also started to focus more on my diet, watching what and how much I ate.
Up around 6:30, and on the road by 6:45. My Dad is driving, my older brother is up front in the passenger’s seat, and my little brother and I are in the back - probably with me sprawled all over him, as I tend to do in any car ride longer than 40 minutes. We are off to our annual end-of-summer hike. This year, the same as lasts: Saddle Mountain.
At the beginning of the sixth grade, a family friend of mine, Josh, began to realize that he had feelings for another boy. Josh knew that he would not be accepted, so he kept it a secret. Whenever I talked to Josh, he said that he had been in denial of his feelings for so long because he knew that judgement would come with it. After keeping it a secret for so long Josh had finally told someone because of a friend that he made, Megan. Megan has a family member that was going through a similar “problem”, that’s what Josh calls it.
The Most Memorable Vacation A memorable vacation is one that you can never forget. I never thought I would build houses for poor people. It was one of my most memorable experiences in my life. What made it even more memorable was the fact it was my first time to go to a foreign country to help other people build houses.
