The day before Thanksgiving I woke up the day before Thanksgiving wondering how we were going to get all the food done. I wanted this Thanksgiving to be the best Thanksgiving our family has ever had. I got up, went upstairs and my Grandpa was already cooking and my grandma was already cleaning, so I decided to just jump right in. At the end of the day, some of the food was already done, and some of it had a lot to go, but we all knew we had tomorrow too. "Tomorrow is going to be a great day" everybody thought. We all went to bed wondering how it's gunna turn out. The day of Thanksgiving Everybody got up still wondering how it was going to be. In the background I could hear a pan sizzling as my grandpa was cooking for our Thanksgiving Dinner. I could already smell how good the Thanksgiving Dinner would be. I could see our kitchen being a mess. I was happy! Everybody was having a good time, playing cards, talking to each other, like everybody should do on Thanksgiving. "It's almost time to eat" my grandpa said excitedly, we all jumped up and down and
Reading the comic strip “True Tales of the Amerikkkan History Part II: The True Thanksgiving” artist Jim Mahfood, examines different views on ethnicity, specifically the differences between American Indians and Whites, through the views of a naïve and native youngster. Mahfood, utilizes a classic nine panel format with “True Tales of the Amerikkkan History Part II: The True Thanksgiving”, which traces the youths discussion about Thanksgiving. This discussion between the white kid and the Native American kid, shows the vast differences between both youths perception of the traditional American holiday. Mahfood’s portrayal of the white kid, as a self-absorbed follower of society and as direct reflection of his apparently, uncompassionate

Dr. Meyers, Hello! I hope your Thanksgiving was rejuvenating and enjoyable with family and friends. This is Angelia (Angel) Hirsch from the summer practicum course through Liberty University. I am not certain what happened over the week of Thanksgiving, but our house (which is a 125 year-old historical home, really a niche market, not many want to deal with the special things that come along with the age and up keep) suddenly went into high demand and we had numerous offers come in on Wednesday!

I woke up at six o’clock in the morning and was too excited to go back to sleep. I really tried to go back to sleep, but my heart rate was too high. I got really bored just lying in my bed, so I decided to go wake up my dad. I walked to my mom and dad’s room and gave my dad a light touch on the back. His response was,” Go Back to bed
Martha looked at the myth of Thanksgiving. The idea that an entire family would happily get together for a huge meal. The family will think and talk about everything that they are thankful for. This is heavily discussed in elementary schools. As a child I remember my teacher suggesting that at dinner we should go around the table and have each family member say something that they are thankful for.
Thanksgiving Personal Narrative Some people attend parties, feasts, or even carnivals for Thanksgiving. On the other hand, I am kind of different. I love to spend time with my family making arts and crafts.
“Thanksgiving Break” a term every middle school student remembers. A time to spend with your family, eat food and the best part, not being in school. It was a beautiful autumn day and the ground glowed with the crisp fall leaves. The leaves seemed to dance around as the cool mid- autumn air blew through them. It was the day before thanksgiving and us grandkids were at grandma's house for a fun family day.
My perspective on Thanksgiving had completely changed after reading this article. I truly believed that Thanksgiving was a happy time, a time of thanks and a celebration of the first harvest. People today celebrate Thanksgiving as a time to get together with loved ones, have a big dinner, to give thanks and go shopping. The first Thanksgiving was never actually documented.
During the second marking period Melinda starts to become a little more creative with her artwork and within herself. Thanksgiving occurs during the second marking period. Melinda’s mother was in charge of making Thanksgiving meal, but has to leave for work unexpectedly. Her father is now in charge, but he is not the best cook. Dinner was magnificently delicious. The turkey, cooked perfectly, had a smooth texture, with juices packed with flavor running down my mouth onto my plate. The gravy was warm, and tasted like liquid gold. The stuffing and cranberry sauce were a magical combination. When eaten together, they gave my tastebuds the feeling that the cranberry sauce and the stuffing were dancing with each other.
The night It is 5pm on Thanksgiving Day. There was football on the T.V. I was in the kitchen cooking. I peak at the T.V. it was a Broncos packers game the score was 21 to 21. I stop cooking and watch with my family. There is 10 seconds left and we all are cheering for the packers.
My Family Thanksgiving Imagine you and your family all having a good time, enjoying yourself, and watching T.V. And that’s some of what I did at Thanksgiving. My family are very important to me because, they make other people laugh and do nice things. My Aunt Joann likes to make jokes, makes people laugh a lot, and makes great sweet potato pie.
Birds were chirping; flowers swaying in the wind. Warm rays of light hit my face; I stirred awake rubbing the dust out of my eyes. We packed our stuff for the final event of this holiday at the theme park. Everything seemed fine. I got onto the rollercoaster with my family to have some extreme fun.
