To Whom this may concern:
I have always been told that life is like a tree. The reason why life is like a tree is because if a tree is planted in bad environment then the seeds of the tree will die off: if it live then the seeds will be weak. My bad environment was living in Burma with no education and forced to move to Thailand as a refugee because the Burmese military leader wanted to rule over everything. I moved to the United States in 2007 and life was really different and challenging because English is not my first language. Growing up in the refugee camp, life was really hard because of poor education and poor health care. I believe going into college will help me be successful and to find out who I really am. To me, success means being proud of who I am. I grew up in family with no background of education is really though. I am a son and the first generation going into college and that will be what make me proud.

You also need to be patient and take care of the tree. To me a good soil and water was moving to the United State which give me the opportunity to grow and have stronger root in education. I sit in class wishing I can be in a class where every student listened while the teacher are talking, but my wish doesn’t work out for me because where there is success, there is also failure. I have to work twice as hard than other kids because I always felt like I was not a smart person. Even when I work twice as hard because English is not my first language, I still don’t feel like a smart person. Whenever I look back, I’m smarter than the person I was before because I try to manage my time and plan everything ahead. I have learned that in order to win, you have to lose as well and learn from
The two most valuable aspects would be supports from the Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) advisors and an enough length of time that allow students to explore. Being enrolled in DUS allows students who are undecided about majors to see what they will pursue. DUS gives us enough time to explore around and figure out our interests so that we will not regret studying our chosen subjects. There are around 160 majors in Penn State. We have to be very serious when selecting majors because it affects our future career.
My most respected council see that you have requested my presence to justify my behavior as a member of the Christian community. I trust that I have not sinned, and come short to the glory of god and that I have also kept the holy spirits commandments and have also helped to spread the word of our holy father. I have come to believe that there were many factors that convinced me that Jesus was the messiah. The evidence that helped to convince thousands of Jews including me that Jesus was the messiah was that he prepared his apostles for world-wide witness by proving to his people that he is alive and that his resurrection vindicated his claim to be the messiah. He also gave his apostles the vision and strategies to help accomplish his purpose
There is always opportunities for personal growth in life, especially when you are surrounded by people interested in pursuing a doctorate in psychology. One such area of personal growth would be determining my limitations. I desire to appease others and do what they have asked of me, but I need to be more aware of what I can realistically accomplish. Especially in a graduate level program, I will need to be honest with myself about what I can do and what I need help on. Another area that could be addressed during my training would be learning how to walk away or recognize that you cannot help an individual.
Physicians and surgeons examine patients, obtain medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Physicians often work closely with other healthcare staff including physician assistants, registered nurses, and medical records and health information technicians. Physicians and surgeons may work in a medical specialty, such as cardiology, dermatology, pathology, or radiology1. This field interests me due to the shortage of doctors in certain areas and it is a way that I will be helping the community2. My grandfather inspired me to become a physician because he had always wanted someone in the family to be in the healthcare field.
I am captivated by the way in which Fashion is cyclical and how the Fashion Marketing Industry holds such a substantial influence over the styles of people, eras and cultures. For this reason I have chosen to do Fashion Marketing as a Degree. It fascinates me how unconsciously we are all victims of marketing new or modified fashion trends through our own individual street style. One of my favourite trends that has been present in my style is the Mod Look of the mid 1960s as this was the generation of the youth of London. I believe this is culturally significant for myself as a British teenager as it reflects the history of fashion.
I am writing to apply and express my interest for this opportunity to do a business management internship. After finishing high school, I want to start my career with getting an insight into the world of work as well as diving into a foreign and tempting culture. This is an outstanding opportunity to explore different working methods and to gain more capabilities and knowledge as well as a chance to broaden my horizons. I am eager to apply my skills, which I gained during prior work placements, and also determined to improve new abilities to become an efficient trainee, who is ambitious and willing to work hard.
Personal Background I became a Christian at the age of six at my old church, New Life Fellowship. It was after my teacher taught the story of Jesus healing the leper. She asked if anyone wanted to give their life to Christ and I went up. Just a few weeks later I got baptized. And from then on I lived my life as a believer in Christ seeking Him and growing in my relationship with Him.
My commitment to public service is driven by a desire to lead, an eagerness to collaborate, and most importantly, a passion for delivering positive change. Growing up in a small town in Morocco with very little resources, if not almost non, did not stop me from having the eager to learn about global issues and stay up to date about current events. The Bosnian war was an event which shaped the path I want to pursue. At the age of four-five, that passion and curiosity of finding ways to solve issues in peaceful ways rather than violence erose then. My repeated questions about the existence of conflicts and violence were frustrating to my family.
Advertising is one of the oldest forms of industry, with examples being found as far back as Ancient Rome. I want to study Advertising as I believe that it has a much greater impact on society than people realise. It is an industry that is constantly growing and changing and it provides chances for personal development, such as an international career. Also, it presents an opportunity to reach people, and to help make a difference in society by publicising charity appeals. A degree in Advertising would give me the chance to study all sides of the industry, from account handling to the creative, whilst giving me a good understanding of the business aspect.
'How Machines can learn to identify a Frog…And Fraud?" - the keynote speech of the 2016 Digital Disruption Speaker Series, by Adam Wenchel, Vice President, Enterprise Data Services, Analytics & Innovation, Capital One, highlighted how Machine Learning is being applied at my organization, Capital One, as we become a digital-first company. This disruptive presentation has kindled a fire in me to become a technology leader like Adam, developing intelligent Machine Learning programs designed to mimic a human mind and teach computers to grow and change when exposed to new data. The limitless possibilities to innovate and the potential to revolutionize the work we do in the current digital age is what I find most appealing about computers and engineering.
Dr. Porter and Dr. Townsend, I believe I am the best candidate to help the school reach their goals, since we have the same values in what we expect to take place in a fourth and fifth grade social studies classroom. It is important for students to start to develop content knowledge, important skill areas, and basic behaviors while they are in my classroom. In each area of these areas, I have ways to help the school reach their goals. The three areas are the building blocks for the students to grow up and be active citizens. I will strive to help every student that walks through my door, they will start to develop the skills needed.
University of Pennsylvania is an intercultural and inclusive university. Since i enjoy volunteering, UPenn offers a commuting student service and community outreach programs. It has academic excellence that will strengthen me to strive to be a better person. I participated in the IB program in my high school year and i pushed myself to never give up.
Like most aspects of today’s society, the global economy can be an intimidating part of adulthood. Upon commencement, the world suddenly becomes very competitive and students must prepare themselves to always be a step ahead to earn career opportunities in a fast paced ever changing environment. College students must begin to develop and demonstrate their abilities in order to apply knowledge and skills to the global economy through their responsibility, teamwork and communication, and knowledge of diverse human cultures. Every human being is tasked with the enormous responsibility of striving to improve.
Many influences have shaped my decision to pursue Clinical Laboratory Science as my career field, from personal interests to academic experiences. For as long as I can remember, science and mathematics classes have fascinated me. Being able to apply the skills I have obtained from my numerous courses to work in an exciting and rapidly-moving subject area has furthered my desire to work in a clinical laboratory setting, and knowing I might have the opportunity to work on highly relevant issues facing society has solidified that desire. My passion for science and math promoted my involvement in undergraduate research, as I am currently working on a research project investigating the Epstein-Barr virus. EBV was the first virus discovered to cause
For over 20 years, I have dreamed of completing my Master’s Degree. Over the years, my motivation may have changed a bit; but, my desire to reach my goal has never faltered. In my twenties, I just wanted to make more money. Then, as I settled into various positions, I just wanted to do it for the sense of accomplishment. I wanted to be an example to my daughter.
