Smartphone Advantages

1. Describe the application you selected and why. The application I’ve selected is “Todoist: To-Do List, Task List” on Google Play (android). The reason I chose this application is because it has many useful functions and is simple to use.

Popularity of Phone is seeing a steep rise. It is a communication gadget which can be used for different purposes. One basic reason is that iPhone has a huge storage capacity which allows storage of audio, contacts, photos, videos, and all other important information. Further it can be connected to the internet too. With all these features iPhone has gained prominence globally as a hi-tech mobile phone.

In comparison books have been a place to hold a copy of how to cure various diseases also, in the old days people would refer to books to cure diseases and to whatever they needed. Having those resources is very important and having a phone is extremely comfortable to be able to quickly search whatever is needed. Having the accessibility to a computer or a smartphone is very prominent in more wealthy countries and that is not necessarily so good all the time. Each day when people go to bed, falling asleep with a cellphone is extremely popular and more prefered than a book. Another issue is that younger children look up to the use of technology as something you do when you grow up, but kids are demanding more and more use of these distractions rather than playing outside or reading an actual book.

Time management has been one of the most substantial hurdles of my scholastic and professional career. Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful. To capitalize on the use of time management strategies and reach my Doctoral Business Administration (DBA) program goals. I will execute two specific time management strategies, for example, accessing and planning a weekly schedule while adjusting my daily schedule. Time management will help me maximize the use of my time and reach my ultimate DBA goals of completing each assignment.

The calendar is an important thing we use to tell time. There are calendars all across the nation in school, in our homes, in our businesses, and many other places.

The cell phone is an invention that hugely impacted today’s society. Now, almost everyone has a cell phone and uses it constantly throughout a day. The design of a cell phone has also changed since the seventies. The first phones were roughly two pounds, now the average phone is 113 grams. The use of a cellphone has also changed since the 1970s.

Social media gives us the ability to communicate with family and friends who live in different states and even different countries at the touch of a button. A huge advantage to digitally communicating is that you can choose when you have time to talk, you aren't obligated to answer a text message immediately like a phone call. In addition, many people value texting and social media, as they were originally created to allow people to keep in contact when they're not together. Wortham mentioned that in a study by Pew Research Center’s Internet Research project of 2,252 adults, “Seventy-four percent of the couples surveyed reported that the Internet had had a positive impact on their relationship. In addition, 41 percent of 18-to-29-year-olds in serious relationships said they felt closer to their partner because of online or text-message conversations” (396).

Actually talking to a person makes things so much more clearer for everyone involved in the conversation. A person is able to understand the tones, moods, and afflictions in the other person’s voice. Facial expressions are seen, which also make comprehension much better. Technology should not be overused, but used in a sense where people could benefit from it rather than being addicted to it. People spend an average of 8 hours and 41 minutes a day on social media.

The Use of Social Networking Nowadays, we are living under decent technology and it has changed a lot of things: Entertainment, communication, and relationship; economy, education, and habit; medical, political and cultural etc. Social media has allowed us to interact with many more people other than we are used to before. We are living in a world where people would rather use text message with their mobile phone than face-to-face to each other, share greeting with more than hundreds of friends on the social media such as upload how they feel on Facebook, show photo Instagram, and what they are doing with Snapchat.

In contemporary world, smartphone are playing a very important role in human’s life. It’s a technology that keeps on developing everyday to make the life of each person easier. The impacts of smartphone are obvious include social life, business and pollution. Mobile technology has already changed the cultural specification and behaviour of each person especially in today. The impacts are both at the positive side and negative side.

Living in the modern era makes social media become part of our life. Basically, social media are used for communication and social interaction. Based on the Merriam-Webster, social media are forms of electronic communication (as websites for social networking and microblogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (as videos). There are lots of social media that people use nowadays such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Path, and others. Most of people probably have two or more social media’s accounts.

The cell phone is without a fact one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century. Most people these days cannot visualize life without them. This small technological gadget gives us multiple functions, one of the most valuable is communication. Phones make it easier to check up and contact people than ever before. These devices also provide benefits for people that have to keep their busy life in order.

In Brett Molina's, "Do Smartphones keep us in or out of touch?" the writer explains how smartphones are very powerful. "Most of us can walk and chew gum at the same time. But add a smartphone and beware the zombies" (Brett 9). Most adults, teenagers, and even children own a smartphone, but for what purpose? Despite their usefulness, cell phones are a major distraction.

Today, almost every person caries a smart phone with them and some can’t survive the day without it. There are many companies and manufacturers who build smart phones like the popular ones such as Htc, Nokia, Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Motorola, Sony and many more, but what makes those companies not alike are the phones they release through the years, but are they that different? To compare, let us take an example of two leading rival companies in the field of smart phones, Samsung and Apple, who newly released their flagship devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Apple iPhone 6 plus. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7 inch Super Amoled touch screen, a 16 megapixel back facing camera, an octa core processor with 3 gb of Ram and a 3220 mah battery whereas the Apple iphone 6 plus comes with a 5.5 inch retina display touch screen, an 8 megapixel back facing camera, dual core processor with 1 gb of Ram and a 2915 mah

As technology continues to improve, the usage of cell phones continues to increase too. The increase in using cell phones over the last decade has been unbelievable; and the cell phone itself has become a common facilitate for all ages all around the world. When people hear about the cell phone,majority of them usually see the positive sides and its benefits, but ignoring the risks of this small device which isquite serious and somehow dangerous. It has bad effects on health, it is a disturbing tool, because some people talk so loud in the public places which may annoy others and also sometimes it may be the cause that we forget about some works, and etc. So, majority of people who became aware of these disadvantagesin European and American countriesbegan using their cell phones less than before.
